Snowface padded along with her hunting patrol, ears erect and muzzle lifted. The warm evening air billowed throughout the forest, making her feel peaceful and relaxed. Two voles dangled from her jaws, plumper and juicier than ever. She felt her mouth water at the mere sight of them- she hadn't had a good meal like this for moons! The rest of the patrol spread out, slinking through the ferns as she flicked her tail. "Hunt solo for a while, and meet back at sunset." She mewed, nodding before she herself slipped into the brush. "Psst..." A cat whispered in her ear, making the deputy jump. "Huh? Oh, sure. What do you need?" Snowface mewed, her voice muffled as she headed into a clearing with the stranger. "These voles are delicious, aren't the-" her sentence was cut short as the cat easily slit her throat, leaving her crumpled and lying in a pool of blood. The figure also took the voles and ravenously gulped them down, all while scraping leaves and dirt over Snowface's body as a... 'Joke'. Watch out, Thunderclan! A murderer is among you!

Newleaf brought new kits and plentiful prey to the forest of Thunderclan, and even with all the new warriors, nocat ever went hungry. Catching a vole became simply putting a paw on the ground, as a juicy piece of fresh kill would already be trapped under it. The weather was warm and mild, with cool breezes to Chase away the slight heat. The blue sky was always cloudless with not a sign of rain-or any type of a storm for that matter. It was perfect- too perfect. So perfect that the Clan grew stronger and healthier than ever before. So perfect that the fresh-kill pile was always fully stocked- usually containing many extra pieces of prey. So perfect that nobody expected what would come next...

Ivypool, resting in the clearing with a vole. She stretched and began padding around camp.

Rainkit walked around camp her blind eyes looking around. She let out a sigh. What would she do for the clan without being able to see. She padded farther and tripped landing on her nose. She let out a high-pitched squeak. Her fluffy tail twitched as she got up. She shook her head her torn ear bouncing up. She had no idea about Snowface as the body was in the forest. She curled up in the middle of camp not wanting to fall on her nose again.

Ravensky padded out of the Warriors' den, stretching out. "It's a lovely day," he murmured, padding towards the fresh kill pile. He picked up a vole, padding to his favorite spot: A nice shady spot under a tree, next to the camp entrance. He slowly placed the kill on the floor, taking a bite out of it. "Juicy," he smiled. Prey has gone up and juicier than ever, he was lucky that he was in this clan. He watched Rainkit curl up, his tail and ear twitching.

Duckpaw ate into his vole, it was so juicy! He was very happy this morning. Then, his head jerked to the yowl.

[gallifrey falls.]

Rainpaw also heard it, and tasted the air - finding the scent of blood. Horror filling her, she raced after the scent.
Bile rose in her throat as she saw poor Snowface, the she-cats pretty white fur stained with blood and dirt, her eyes staring sightless ahead.

Solsticewind woke up, stretching her limbs out happily. She thought nothing could go wrong, because Newleaf brought kits and prey to the land. When she woke up, she decided to go for a walk to look at the beautiful forest. During this, she felt a red liquid under her paws. "Huh?" She mewed when she noticed it. She looked down, spotting the deputy in a pool of scarlet. "Sn-Snowface? Wake up!" She mewed, more surprised than she ever was. The surprised emotion soon turned into fear, fear of being killed.

Ivypool, stopped at the sound of a loud yowl and instantly recognized it as Snowface.

"What's wrong, Rainpaw?" Duckpaw called cautiously. He bounded over, then burst into tears being sensitive. "Snowface? W-wh-who would do this?!" He choked.

Ravensky jumped up, he looked over to the entrance, sniffing the air. There it is! The faint scent of blood. He followed it, reaching the forest with the two cats, and the deputy. "S-Snowface!" He ran over, laying down where the deputy was. "What happened..?" He asked, grief filled his eyes.
