cinderstar was on an evening stroll, checking the borders and enjoying the weather. A cat snuck up on her, slashed her throut, and threw her into the river. Watch out thunderclan, theres a murderer among you, and you have no leader.

Silvermist yawned, ears twitching as she leisurely got to her paws. The sun was slowly rising over the slopes, casting golden rays of sunlight across the camp. The Warrior yawned once more before padding outside, ears pricked. The cold morning air brought a familiar scent whisking through the camp, and she froze. It couldn't be! Heart glimmering with a sliver of hope, she skidded to a stop in front of the river, yowling with agony and rage as she found Cinderstar's dead body lying in the shallows. "No!" She yowled once more, crouching down to her leader's dead body.

[gallifrey falls.]

Jadefeather shot to her feet at the sound of Silvermist's yowl, and dashed outside. The medicine cat stopped short at the sight of their leader's body, lying brokenly in the river. She bowed her head in grief, and wrapped her tail around her paws. "We must tell the Clan of this. There is no scent around here but ThunderClan."

Silvermist nodded sullenly, gaze burning with tears. "Who could've done this?" She asked, voice seething with grief and fury. "Who would've wanted Cinderstar to be dead?" She prodded her leader's body before adding, "This cat slashed her throat and threw her into the river- perhaps he or she wasn't a full grown warrior just yet. Maybe it was an apprentice- if I were the killer, then I would slash her throat and be gone. A younger cat wouldn't have as much strength in their claws."

[Brûlée]

Icesplash lazily dozed, before hearing the commotion outside. "Oh my aching back." She moaned, before going outside to see what was happening. To her horror, she heard the whispers of the death of their leader. "I remember when she was a kit!" She thought. "She's to young to die!"

Silvermist sighed. "We have to vote," she declared, eyes narrowed into blue slits. "We'll wait until the whole Clan arrives- this shouldn't go unpunished." She already had a suspect forming in mind- one who had the advantages of knowing Cinderstar's strengths, weaknesses, and personality. Besides, she was also incapable of killing the leader with one shot.

Dewkit headed out of the nursery and saw Icesplash going out of camp. She ran over to Icesplash and mewed,"Hello, Icesplash! Is something going on?"
