So this week is spirit week and today is 'Murica day.
Now how the heckie am I supposed to dress up for that?

@Traverser: South Africa btw, but same understanding yes.
I realize that they have a culture and lifestyle that is the polar opposite of us. However, the fact that there were four teenage boys killed for supposed political partisanship I find hard to believe. I think that they were caught up in a riot and then all four of them killed but on innocent standings. More than a thousand people were killed around the same time as these four and I find it hard to believe that they were all part of a political rivalry. I would think that there were at least a few innocent bystanders and based on their parents' statements, I'd believe that these four are part of that group of innocents. Probably just in denial but still.
And I also can say that yes, a missing person does make it really hard to move on. There's plenty of evidence for that, but just the way they phrased it was rude. I'm not saying that they aren't glad to know that she's dead and not just alive out there somewhere (though with the chronic depression that lead to the suicide, I'd find it hard to believe that they actually thought that she was alive since she was being treated by a psychiatrist before she disappeared), but they could have phrased that a bit better.
Just my opinion.
