Zero =/= Positive/negative vs. Zero = negative/positive

Heyo peoplez! I just thought of a game to settle the scores of whether the number zero is a number all in it's self or if its a +/- I've asked many people their thoughts on it but I'm bored so Im just making a game out of it.

We'll start at 1000 like any other game! If you think the number zero is a positive/negative number +1.
If you think it's neither and will always be forever independent and keeping all of it's cookies locked in a safe where no one thinks that he has any thus giving him the number of 0 cookies; unable to take any away or give any to him (since he'll turn into 1 after that which is a positive #): If you think he's neither positive or negative -1.

Ok so if it gets to 0, it's official that zero is neither. If it gets to 2000, zero is a positive/negative number.
