Falconflight wondered who it could be. The answer didn't seem obvious at all. Maybe it was a warrior who wanted to be deputy, but why would they kill the medicine cat apprentice first? It didn't make sense.

Flamefeather watched everyone crowded around the body, wishing so much that there was anything she could do. Will this murderer manage to wipe them all out? Who will die next if the murderer isn't found? Who could it be? Sitting down with a sigh, her gaze traveled from cat to cat. All seemed loyal...
