Copperkit gave a terrified mew as her clanmates turned on her, desperate. she cried out and tried to run, but one cat pounced upon her, and quickly pinned her down. Another stepped forward, claws unsheathed, and within moments, there was no life in the tiny kit.

That night, Cinderkit woke to the sounds of paws padding into the den. when she looked up, she blinked, then gasped. "You! It's--" He she could speak, the cat took her tiny head in his jaws, and with a quick snap, killed her before leaving her cooling body in the moss.
