Tumblekit's head drooped, and she closed her eyes, not wanting to be surrounded with cats anymore. She wanted to be alone, somewhere quiet where she could try and understand what had happened in her own way.

Rainpaw laid own next to Sagepaw, Redpaw, and Spiritpelt's dead body.She shighed sadly, before resting her chin on her paws. Rainpaw flicked her tail, thinking about who the murderer was.

Azurefeather nodded tearfully and leaned her head against Foxblaze, appreciating her moral and physical support. "I can't believe she's gone. Yesterday she was fine, alive as can be. And now...everything has changed. I thought I'd seen the last of death when my mate died." She said sadly.

Foxblaze nodded sadly, comforting her friend. "She was a fine deputy, she would have made a fine leader as well." I hate death. The she cat thought, gently placing her tail on Azurefeather's shoulder.

Azurefeather gazed downward at her fallen deputy in silence for a few moments, before lifting her head, a thoughtful look in her amber eyes. "You were the first one to find her, right? Did you notice any evidence? Any clues that could lead to a suspect?"

The clan turned on Foxblaze, whom they expected to be the murderer. Rather than being mauled, the she-cat raced out of the territory to the two leg pace where she became a loner and had a happy life.

Watch out, Thunderclan! You have gotten rid of your only warrior, and the murderer is still on the loose!

Azurefeather was tired after that long day of arguing and such, so she decided to eat a mouse, then go to bed early. She was a little crabby at the lack of intelligence at the other cats.
She picked up a mouse in her jaws when a voice reached her ears.
"Long day, huh?" The other cat asked. Azurefeather jumped slightly, but the voice was friendly, so she ignored it.
"Yes, it was quite a long day. I think I'm going to enjoy a long deep sleep so that in the morning--" she never got to finish her sentence when sharp teeth closed as round her jaws, along with a quiet cackle.
"See you... Never!" The other cat cackled before slinking away.
