I went to the nearest tree and I scraped a bundle of moss off, then dropped it at the leaders paws. "Is this enough?" I asked.

"I dont know, GlitchPaw! But, I saw what happend......." Purepaw had seen the deputy killed in front her own eyes.......

"Thank you, Loveheart. I'll clean this mess up." Froststar said sadly. He wet the moss with his tongue and began to soak up blood from the ground.

"I know this is hard for you but your going to have to appoint a new deputy before moonhigh, and that's soon...very soon."I said to Froststar.

Sunnypaw picked up a dandelion and placed it on Hawkpool. She said, very sadly,"If only I could do more than just put a dandelion on Hawkpool's body... if only I could have saved him."

Darkpaw heard Froststar's scream,just after she left.He rushed to Froststar,and saw the dead body."Hawky!?Who could of done this?!"
Thoughts
'It wasn't Froststar,she was with me, maybe Purepaw,but I doubt she would do that.Maybe it was Glitcha?No,Glitcha was inno!'

Purepaw buried her nose in the deputies fur. Hawkpool was already getting cold. Purepaw yolwed for the dead deputy.

"I know Loveheart, I'll have to do that right now won't I?" he sighed. Froststar padded out of the den, climbed onto the High Rock and yowled "All those old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the High Rock!"
