I will give you a mini plot outline of each. Buckle up.


[ The Possession ]
A girl buys a box from a yard sale. Box has demon in it. Demon likes girl and tries to possess her. Lots of bugs. Downhill from there.

[ Insidious ]
Child gets sucked into some sort of alternate reality with this weird demon guy that looks a hell of a lot like Darth Maul. Demon starts to come into real world. Downhill from there.

[ House at the End of the Street ]
Girl moves into new house. House at the end of the street is "haunted" because parents killed by daughter there in the past. Son still lives there. Girl starts to talk to him. Downhill from there.

[ Woman in Black ]
Harry Potter moves into a new house. Big house. Woman in black is in house because her spirit is restless. Harry Potter tries to bring her peace. Downhill from there.

I would suggest not watching The Possession because it frightened me a bit [which is why it is my favorite; takes a lot to frighten me]. The least-scary is definitely House at the End of the Street.
