The young tom lashed his tail, saddened and angered at the death of the kit. Who would do such a thing? The apprentices eyes traveled around, looking for Scarface naturally. His ears flattened when he couldn't find the feline in the group right away.

Nighttail came to the scene where the murder was. She saw the poor kits lifeless body and wailed. "Who would do this?"
