Well, I think that some of us has read or even heard about manga called Doubt. No, not that yaoi-one! I mean Yoshiki Tonogai's Doubt.
If you haven't heard or never read it, let me tell Doubt's synopsis;
There's a game going around Japan called 'Rabbit Doubt'. The premise of the game is that all of the players are rabbits in a colony, and one amongst them is randomly chosen to be a wolf that infiltrated the group of rabbits. Every round, the wolf kills off a rabbit, and every round, the group tries to figure out which of the rabbits is actually a wolf in disguise. Sometimes the kids who play this game decide to meet up in person, and Yuu, Mitsuki, Rei, Hajime, Eiji, and Haruka have done just that. Unfortunately, one of them has decided to take on the mantle of the wolf and has already killed once. Who is the wolf, and can they be stopped before everyone meets a very unpleasant end?
Yeah..that is manga's synopsis. And now, here, at Chicken Smoothie, I've decided to try host this game. Now you wonder, how it will work at forum? Let me tell you: it is pretty easy. I've played this game before, and it is fun and easy! At the next post I'll tell you how to play. But first, some general rules!
1. Please act in a way you want to be treated you would want the most important person in the world to you to be treated, ie your mom, religious leader, significant other, ect.
2. Respect everyone, disagree with them but do it in a way that dose not lower yourself to the point of being a useless troll/flamer/jerk.
3. Respect the right of us all not to have to listen to your rendition of Pulp Fiction. Swearing dose not the mark of a wise individual make, only a sad lonely one.
4. Respect your own ideas. If we do not understand what you are saying because of how you type it then your ideas are wasted. You could be brilliant but no one will ever know. So please try to type in a way that everyone can understand you. Generally that means no shorthand/text message typing/leet speak/other forms of communication that most will not get. Also try to use the nifty spell check (I personally love it) and try to use decent grammar to. The exception to this rule is if you are trying to talk in code, then it is ok, sort of.
5. Respect the Game Master above all else. For all intents and purposes on a message board you can call them god. They hold the power of life and ban. Also this is a GM run game. All of our GMs work very hard to bring us this wonderful experience so if you disrespect them, most players will never respect you.
6. Respect your own right to privacy. This is not twiter and we do not care that your boyfriend/girlfriend/prostitute on the street was mean to you yesterday or any other junk like that. If we wanted to live in the real world we would be out there not here. Give us our sanctuary free from your drama/comedy/tragedy. Some of us may care but most do not and do not want to deal with it/you.
And, of course, all other Chicken Smoothie's rules have to be followed!
