The 1960’s were an extremely diverse time in history. From the novelty songs of 1960 to the protest music of 1969, the culture changed unimaginably fast. Our modern culture has remained almost the same since around 2000, but the culture in the 1960’s seemed to change nearly every year. One of the most significant of these changes was in 1964. On February 9, 1964, The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show. Since many Americans watched the Ed Sullivan Show, they got to see how talented (and attractive, if they happened to be a teenage female) The Beatles actually were. That was the beginning of a time known as The British Invasion.
I'm a person that (probably) lives somewhere on Earth. I'm into music. Mostly older stuff from the 60's and 70's. Two of my favorite bands are Pink Floyd and The Who.◘ ◘ ◘
