Pony Breed List wrote: Here are the many types of Pony you could get!
~ Earth Ponies
The Earth ponies are ponies who have a special connection to nature and animals. They lack the ability to cast magic spells like the unicorn ponies, or the ability to stand on clouds like the pegasus ponies. Usually, they are the basic form of the My Little Pony Toys.
~Pegasus Ponies
Pegasus ponies all possess wings, and demonstrate great speed both in the air and on foot, although some are described to be graceful. They are also seen manipulating the weather in several occasions such as moving clouds to either cause a storm or clear the skies. They are also known to live in a city of clouds, known as Cloudsdale.
~Unicorn Ponies
Unicorn Ponies, as the name suggests, are ponies who have a singular horn protruding from their forehead, which glows when their powers are used. While they each possess individualized/different magical capabilities, all unicorns share the ability to teleporting process referred to as "winking". Their teleportation is limited to their line of sight, and can only be performed through open air; any physical obstruction will prevent them from moving through it. Despite being associated with their magic, a unicorn's horn is strong and sharp enough to have mundane uses.
~With wings and horn
Ponies with a pair of wings and a horn are rare in the franchise. They usually have abilities of both Unicorn and Pegasus Ponies. They have appeared in the toy line since Generation Four. Dazzleglow made appearance in My Little Pony Tales, but her toy form, a unicorn released before Tales as a part of Glow 'n Show Ponies lineup, is unrelated to that of Tales.
~Flutter Ponies
Flutter Ponies are ponies with tiny bodies, curly hair, longer legs than regular ponies and fairy-like wings. They were first released in 1986. The Flutter Ponies may appear delicate, but in truth, they possess a powerful ability called the Utter Flutter, which allows them to blow away everything in their path by flapping their wings in a rapid speed. They are rarely seen, preferring to live in seclusion, usually in Flutter Valley. Honeysuckle, Morning Glory and Rosedust were the only notable ones in the first My Little Pony series.
~Seaponies/Baby Seaponies
The Seaponies are brightly colored seahorse-like creatures who dwell in the rivers and lakes of Dream Valley. They love underwater polo and can perform elaborate songs and dance numbers. They were frist released in 1983 and only appeared in the two Generation 1 Specials. The Seaponies are based on the Hippocamp, a mythological creature shared by Phoenician and Greek mythology. A sub-line of the Seaponies called Baby Seaponies debuted later in 1985 and later in My Little Pony: The Movie.
~Breezies
The Breezies are small fairy ponies living in Breezy Blossom. These ponies usually have butterfly-like wings and antennae on their heads. Notable ones in the franchise were Tiddly Wink, Tra La La and Zipzee. They were first released in 2006.
~Dragons
As of Generation 4, there are three dragon characters who debuted in the whole franchise. Spike, however, is the most notable.
~Other
There are also Antagonists, the bad guys. There are many creatures available as Allies, such as zebras, border collies, you name it! 8D Some aren't available, however, so if you would like one, I'll let you know if it's available. 8D
I don't really have any rules, except Tess' and no spamming. So go ahead and have fun!
Note: Sometimes if I find a pony it is not in the animated series, but simply in the toy line. If that happens, I'm sorry. I tried.
Here are the ponies from Friendship is Magic ~
