A has won!Carefully, you approached the injured creature, careful not to startle it even more. However, as soon as the bird's round, black eyes set their sights on you, it immediately seemed to calm down, replacing the look of horror on its face with a more... relieved one.
Well, lookie who's back from the trip to their mind dimension!
A shrill voice rang in your head, the familiar mockery to its tone still there, despite the owner of the voice not exactly being in tip-top condition.
This time however, you decided to reply with a question:
How did this happen?
You ask the creature, plain and simple.
Yet, all you got in response was the sound of an impatient grunt:
Hey buddy, why don't you maybe get this thing outta my wing first? Then maybe I'll tell ya.
The voice complained in your head, once again highlighting your stupidity.
So, deciding to take the route of common sense, you first rake your gaze up and down the peculiar stone rod. It was fairly thin, yet stable; long, yet it did not snap. Only one thing was certain: this rod was definitely made by another living, breathing creature.
You knew you had to figure out some way of getting the stick out, without hurting the bird in the process - but, how?
A) Quickly yank it out.
B) Find some materials, such as leaves, to help with the wound before yanking it out.
C) Slowly and carefully tug it out.
D) Carefully amputate the affected wing with another stone.
