It's not really my thing, but I get it if others enjoy it. There's no issue with celebrating to me, but I just don't enjoy this idea that there's one special day a year that you're supposed to go over the top. It makes people feel guilty when they cannot afford gifts for their s/o and I just think it's better to go out any other day because it's way less of a hassle. Luckily I have a bf who agrees and all we did was exchange small gifts (he gave my a little rainbow unicorn plush and I made cookies for him!)
