i realize this is a boring answer but i think saying that i favor any planet more than earth, or star more than the sun, would just be dishonest. but last semester my astronomy professor's favorite star was betelgeuse, so there's that.

^ seems to really not enjoy their philosophy class. i would hope it's just the professor and not the class, since philosophy is just about the only topic i enjoy learning about on my own lmao.

here we go i'm gonna limit myself to just 3 but i could talk for hours about music wowee
senses working overtime by xtc - cold-sounding song, very unique but also not hard to jam out to, it has an insanely strong chorus and bridge especially. xtc is just in general a hugely underrated band. this one is about medieval peasants trying to wrap their heads around the world around them!
burning down the house (live) by talking heads - oh my days this is the definition of my jam. i love this song so much. my favourite version of one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite bands. the whole album is phenomenal, watching the video for this specific song is also great cause they're all just really going for it and having fun and it's so good
summer, highland falls by the legend that is billy joel. my favourite singer, actually not my favourite song of his but it's up there. a solemn tune, one for reflecting on life. hard to believe he was in his 20s when he wrote and sang this. this song feels like rain.
