↪ butterflypaw and wolfpaw grappled in a practice battle, the young tom's claws unsheathed during a heated moment and accidentally
struck his sister on the shoulder. the two apprentices come to an immediate halt, wolfpaw spluttering out apologies as butterflypaw
reassures him that she's fine. as it was a minor injury, butterflypaw won't need any herbs.

↪ hawkeyes and lightningpaw were just about ready to wrap things up and head home when lightningpaw asked if he could practice at
least one more time before they left. hawkeyes agreed, crouched at the edge of the river as his apprentice eased himself in. things were
going well at first, until the apprentice's hind leg seized up in a cramp and let out a pained yelp of surprise. hawkeyes quickly took action,
diving into the cold water, grabbing lightningpaw by the scruff, and brought him back to dry land. lightningpaw breathlessly remarks that
he's had enough swimming for today. coming back with a limp, poppywish recommends that he should take at least +1 poppy seed for the
pain.

Glowingpaw woke before dawn to hurry to the medicine den. He peeked in and Sparkgaze lifted her head. Twigwish and Ravenpaw's gentle snores and sleeping snuffles from the back of the den rose over her whisper, "Come on in. She's doing fine." He padded into the den and lay down next to his sleeping mother. Almondpaws, resting next to her mate, gently groomed his head. Glowingpaw nestled closer to Junipermuzzle, who was fast asleep in one of her regular naps due to her concussion. Sparkgaze was taking a shift, but Twigwish would be next.

What seemed like only a few heartbeats later, Ravenpaw was shaking Glowingpaw awake. "Time to get up, Shardlily wants you!"

KIN OF THE LOTUS
First post! I hope it's ok.

A young clan with an ancient past looking to revive itself through Starclan... Revived by a cat gifted by Starclan, the clan now resides in new but familiar territory. An abandoned Japanese garden the Twolegs left behind is their home now.
Reputation: Long forgotten, generally thought to be a very serene and peaceful clan.
Nature: Calm.

The Territory*:
Camp is tucked snuggly into a clearing with old stone and red painted wood pagodas, some crumbling into rubble. The largest and most intact is called Red Bloom, and is where the Head (Leader) lives and makes announcements from.

To the North of camp is the Bamboo Forest, the most likely place to find small prey. It is a great place for sunbathing if you like dappled sun. There is a large boulder surrounded by sand in the middle of the forest called Sand Stone.
To the West of camp is the Stream and Red Log. Red Log is a red painted wooden bridge across the stream. There are no fish here, at least not regularly. There is some sugarcane and the water is fresh.
To the South of camp is Little Emerald. Little Emerald is a stunning large pond covered in lotus and waterlilies. It is deep green and surrounded by overgrown Japanese trees. It is often a place for gathering herbs.
To the East is the Pathways. The Pathways are a confusing maze of Twoleg-made paths through very tall and smooth boulders. The ground is sand and while it is a good training spot, with small clearings, it is a likely place for strangers to come through...

Greenleaf fury has vanished from the sun's radiant heat, leaving behind only a soft warmth that is easily dispersed by ever more frequent breezes which carry with them the scent of rain. Leaves have begun to tinge with red and orange, and a few unlucky souls have kicked off the descent for which this season earns its name. Squirrels and mice skitter over the fallen few looking for seeds and nuts which they will stockpile for leafbare, ignorant to stalking forms of felines who are making preparations of their own.
