So sorry I didn't realise I was replied to before! XwX

With Leaf-Bare still baring it's fangs, the cats of Acornclan were thriving well. Starclan had sent Birdstar an enthusiastic apprentice eager to start learning. Her name was Tigerpaw and she hadn't stopped talking since this morning.
"What do I do? What does this mean? When do I get started!?"
"Okay, Tigerpaw calm down. We need to get you a mentor first," Birdstar explained. "Follow me, I have the perfect cat." Tigerpaw jumped up and followed Birdstar as she climbed the tree. When they made it to the warrior's den, she told the apprentice to wait outside. Tigerpaw bounced, anticipating her mentor.

When she returned, a grey she-cat was also with her. "Tigerpaw, this is Cinderflight. Cinderflight, Tigerpaw," Birdstar said. Cinderflight gave her a friendly nod. "Cinderflight, you are a smart young cat and with your skills I think you are ready to have an appre-"
"Wow, really!? You're giving me an apprentice!? Just like Dapplecloud!" she squeaked before Birdstar had even finished talking.
"Y-yeah..." she replied, slightly taken aback.
"Hiya, Tigerpaw! It's good to see you! I'll be your mentor. I promise you'll learn heaps!"
"Yay!" Tigerpaw shouted.
"Do you want to start training now?" Cinderflight asked.
"Yes, please!" she nodded and then the two ran off.
"Be careful of the snow!" Birdstar called out to them. A sudden thought came into her head, Those two are more suited to each other than I previously thought... As she had other duties to do, she walked off to find some available warriors. There was a fox in her territory after all.

Dapplecloud shivered in the cold and tried to keep herself warm. She wasn't very used to the cold or snow and so far was finding it difficult. Cloverstep had joined her though and the two were huddled close.
"Looks like finding prey will be difficult..." he said as he looked at the falling snow.
"But I still think it's worth a shot," another voice had said. The two cats looked up to find Bramblestep towering over them.
"Ah... That's true," he replied. Bramblestep turned to Dapplecloud.
"Hey, I never got to congratulate you about Greypatch. You trained him well!"
"Pfft, it was his own skills too," she snorted before she realised who she was talking to. Suddenly, she turned her gaze. "But, thanks..." Bramblestep's smile begun to fade but he perked his ears up nonetheless.
"Shall we go hunting together? I'll bring Blossompaw too."
"Sure. I have nothing else to do," Cloverstep said and got to his paws.
"What about you, Dapplecloud?"
All she did was nod. Bramblestep was hoping a hunting patrol would allow them to talk more with each other. It didn't seem to be working now but it was worth a shot....

While Whitecoal was out investigating the fox, Dustpaw was ordered to stay at camp. Rabbitnose had offered to keep watch over him and now the two were sorting herbs. He thought it was uninteresting and hated the idea. But here he was, nose deep in herbs.
"Thanks for helping me!" she squeaked as put away some leaves.
"I was forced to do it..." he grumbled and looked at the herbs he had sorted. Turns out Rabbitnose was a bit of a perfectionist.
"Well, it's still helping!" she said. "Is there anymore over there?"
"Um..." he thought aloud. He crawled deeper into the den, looking for any herbs he missed. Then he spotted one, right at the bottom. "Find one!" He carefully used his paw to push it out. It was a small red berry and as soon as Rabbitnose saw it, she yelled.
"What's wrong? I didn't damage it, did I?" he asked.
"No, it's not that. Just please... Don't tell anyone you saw it!" she shouted.
"Wh... What do you mean?" he said, tilting his head. She brought him in close and whispered very quietly.
"This herb is very dangerous. If a cat were to eat this, something terrible would happen. I only have it here because I thought it was safer here than outside. Do not tell anyone you saw it, okay? Do not!"
"I promise. But what is this terrible thing that would happen?" he asked, suddenly very curious.
"That's for me to know and you to not find out. It's much better that way," she whispered with a slight hiss. Suddenly, a loud yell echoed through out the camp.

"What was that?" he asked and looked over her shoulder.
"I believe that was Appleblaze. It was about that time that she would start kitting. Now, you're not a medicine cat but I can still use your help. I'll go check on her and you stay here and bring me herbs if I ask for any," she said. Before he could reply, she ran out. Then her head peered into the den again. "Oh, and remember what I said! Don't tell anyone! It's a secret between you and me."
"Don't worry. The secrets safe with me," he nodded. She smiled and then ran over to Appleblaze who had called out again. Unknown to her, Dustpaw was still thinking about the herb and the possible uses for it...

((Hey! It's been a while since I've posted! Here is my last post and reply.))

"Why do we always have to get up early and patrol?" Squirrelleap muttered as she hopped over the fallen tree, landing with an exaggerated huff. She looked over her shoulder at Greycloud, who had hopped over after her. The fluffy tom just snickered and moved past her to continue along the border. "I mean, I seriously just want to sleep in a little bit. Let the sun get up before I do." The calico she-cat continued as she fell into step beside him.

"The sun doesn't have to worry about defending territory like we do." Greycloud said quietly with a small grin on his face. He gave his friend's flank a light nudge.

Squirreleap groaned, "Why do you always have to be right."

The two continued along the border when suddenly, Greycloud stopped. His ears pricked foreward and he shared a knowing look with Squirrelleap before moving foreward. Suddenly, two shapes emerged from the brush. One was a fluffy gray she-cat who looked heavily pregnant. The other was close by her side with large blue eyes. Both had the same curled up ears and the same annoyed expression. The blue-eyed one growled in her throat. "Well, are you just going to stand there?" She hissed.

The two warriors shared another confused expression before rushing foreward to help the two she-cats.

Lynxclaw lay in the medicine cat den, angry that he wasn't out patrolling and hunting with the others. But more importantly, he hated being near Honeygaze after what had gone down between them the previous moon. He had embarrassed her and jeopardized their friendship which hurt him more than her rejection. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes, trying to relax. Heatstroke was not fun. His eyes opened again as Honeygaze entered the den. She didn't look at him when she walked past and instead went straight to her herbs. It stung his pelt and he cleared his throat. "Honeygaze, I..." he swallowed, "wanted to apologize. I shouldn't have done that."

Honeygaze's intense amber eyes found him and he pinned his ears back. She sighed heavily and padded towards him. "I have to go out and find herbs. Ashfeather is due soon and I want to make sure nothing goes wrong. Will you be alright by yourself?" She asked him, her tone unusually cold. Lynxclaw nodded his head and laid his head on his paws, turning his eyes away from her. He heard her take a deep breath and then felt a soft lick on his ear. Lynxclaw's eyes widened and his head jerked up, but Honeygaze was already gone.

Starclan Visit: Last post

Things in Dappleclan territory were tense. Even here in the desert, there was a chill in the air. Feathercurl had taken to a den in preparation for Kitting, and the cats took turns going to check on her, curious and excited as they all we're, but she howled and hissed for them to go away. The only cat she tolerated for more than a few minutes was her mate, Frostwing. He stayed by her side, but remained ready to go and gather herbs from nearby if she happened to need anything.

Snowfoot's kittens would be here next, and she was not as far along but she still got nervous seeing how Feathercurl's personality seemed to have changed when the time came. Lionstar stayed by her side and offered her reassurance.

Everyone was in a state of awe. Everyone, that is, except for Finchpelt. She'd had plenty of litters before. For her, this was something routine, and she was the first to grow bored and stretch her legs, preparing for the hunt that was coming up.

Eventually the cats realized that they still had much to do on this day, and they began to go off in different directions, taking care of their responsibilities. All of them headed off in the cold windy air to face their chores, except for Snowfoot who padded over to a den close to Feathercurl's, and curled up with her tail wrapped around herself, long fur fluffed up to keep her warm.

"Come on Lightberry, you got this!" Reedfire mumbled softly watching the she cat stalk a little mouse. His eyes widened when she leaped at it but sadly it squirmed out of her paws in between her claws and raced away. Reedfire sighed but he was still proud. "It's alright Lightberry! You did well for your first time out actually! Better then me for sure." He chuckled walking over to the she cat. Lightberry was disappointed in herself. She should have gotten it but... "Hey hey hey Lightberry don't be upset! Hunting is hard. Look, you've done a lot today and you've made so much progress. You're doing outstanding. Please don't give up. I don't like seeing you frown like this." He added on lifting her head to look at him with his paw. "R-Really Reedy?" Lightberry choked out and smiled when he gave a nod. She nuzzled him happily and accidentky touched her nose to his causing them to freeze. Lightberry backed away first and laughed at a flustered Reedfire. "L-Let's get back now." He mumbled out before padding back home with the she cat behind him.

The two got back to camp only to be approached by Batstar glaring at them. "I'd like to talk to you separately in my den." he hissed before padding away. The two cats followed a bit nervous before being met to a furious Batstar. "Reedfire! Why are you teaching the medicine cat to hunt?! To hunt?! Do you hear me?!" Reedfire was taken back but he wasn't scared. "She wanted to. It would also be good for her just incase she gets lost or captured." He explained. "Real funny Reedfire! Who do you think you are? She's supposed to heal not hunt! We have hunters for that! What kind of deputy are you? You're pathetic." Batstar snapped back. This time Reedfire was furious. "Excuse me? I think I'm doing a good job at being deputy. I'm helping a cat learn how to feed herself if she ever gets lost Batstar!" Batstar only get hissing before smacking Reedfire and padded off. Lightberry was huddled to the ground the whole time until she nuzzled the deputy again. "I'm sorry Reedfire. Maybe we shouldn't hang out anymore." She sighed. Reedfire shook his head and meowed back, "We can still hang out. Besides I know what's right. Batstar is just out of his mind."

Smokestar spotted his new deputy, Brackenpelt, sniffing around the dens. It had only been a moon since he arrived and he had proven to be loyal. He walked over to Brackenpelt dipping his head in greeting. "Greetings Brackenwing. Would you care to join me on a patrol?"
Brackenpelt looked up. "Sure." He replied.
Soon the two toms were heading out of camp into the forest. Brackenpelt was looking around at the trees."Do you think we are going to find a loner?"
"We might." Smokestar replied. Brackenpelt looked away from him and continued looking around.

weather: leaf-bare.
during leafbare, the chances of catching greencough is higher. if you send the same cat out multiple times in the same post, they are more likely to catch a cold, which can lead to whitecough and greencough, so be careful. after your cat catches a cold, don't send them out for two posts, or their cold will progress to whitecough or greencough. the sun will start to go down early and it will get colder. you will also catch less prey and are less likely to find new cats.

Cinderstar padded slowly through the thin grasses that sprouted across the hard earth, his icy blue eyes sweeping over the broken shells of twoleg dens. A rare smile stretched across his muzzle as he mapped out the camp in his mind, picturing where he would hold ceremonies, where queens would raise their kits, and where warriors would rest after a long day of hunting. you think our ways are harsh, but that is how we survive.

the trikru are descendants of the woods, and spend most of their times in trees following a strict hierarchy. they have skillsets that are heavily required; any cat without the natural abiltity to climb in trees virtually unnoticed or to be invisible on the ground are considered lowly and called frikdreina; or wastelanders.

the hierarchy:
coalition commander - commander; also called heda.
nightbloods - unique traits - usually the healer. sent to talk the mountain kin.
clan ambassador - spokesperson when heda is occupied.
unit leaders - leads groups of warriors; also called general.
warriors - general war fighters.
sentries - guards to higher ranks{commander, nightblood, ambassador}.
seconds - progeny that we’re given a selected rank and are training for it. 8m and older.
mothers - gives birth to progeny
progeny - 8m and younger
wastelanders - deformed, useless; also called frikdreina

close to the heavy forest is a lake that is said by its inhabitants to read the soul and reveal the future. by crossing the lake you can reach the mountains, where trikru's mountain kin reign. to other clans they are known as starclan- but the trikru are especially fearful of their kin and consider them to be all powerful and all knowing- an omni power the can't control or defeat.

for every kill a cat makes, a scar is added to their shoulder. it is a way of showing seniority and rank. there is a great oak where all of the marks of all kills combined are tallied.
it is also apart of their culture that if a cat has committed a serious crime, violently breaking the law of the trikru, each member of the clan takes turns inflicting a wound.
disloyalty is not tolerated and considered the most wretched of crimes.

clan law:
i. no trikru may harm another trikru.
ii. the heda's word is the law.
iii. a soft life is rejected.
iv. cats are fed by rank.
v. nightbloods may not heal outside of the trikru.
vi. intruders are killed, unless they impress the heda.
vii. a battle is not won without death.
viii. relationships and friendships outside of the trikru are forbidden.
ix. the commander's second is above a nightblood.
x. the entire clan sits vigil a day for a fallen clanmate.

A quarter-moon had passed ever since the day Mintstar's patrol encountered Flamestar, and his companion, Wax in the gloomy rain. In that amount of time, they received new names and were growing comfortable in their new lives as warriors of PineClan. Waxwhisker had moved into the nursery posthaste, keeping the kits occupied with stories of her own now that Rosemask was dedicating more time to hunting and patrolling since her litter was now old enough to be apprenticed.

Waxwhisker did not need to wait long for a denmate around her age as Daisystorm revealed she was expecting kits of her own, though she didn't say who the father of her litter was yet. And Flamefang came with a piece of prey to share with the queens every day. While all seemed well and good, their arrival wasn't well received by everyone in the Clan. Cats like Shrikeface and Aspenheart shot suspicious looks every time Waxwhisker was in view, and Ratnose ducked his head to shield his neck around Flamefang as if he expected the tabby tom to press his powerful forepaw on it again.

Mintstar felt as if she was partly to blame. She had told them Waxwhisker was a member of the rogues that had been creeping in the dark of their land, and with Flamefang being open about his friendliness toward her, trusting him was difficult too, even if they had known him as a Clan leader once. The molly anxiously kneaded the bark she laid on with her forepaws, watching the Clan go about their day from the lowest branch of the Great Oak, shielded from the fresh sprinkle of rain that still fell with every passing day.

Duckfoot had been instructing his niece and nephew how to pounce, his feathery tail a target to the two eager cream-and-white kits, eyes alight in amusement. Mintstar smiled, even though she knew her mate was using this as a way to keep Morningkit and Lightkit away from Waxwhisker since he shared half the Clan's distrust of her. His protectiveness had gone up twofold ever since Weaselstorm and Shadeleaf shared a worrying piece of news with them both; rogues were likely searching for the two kits, as their mother, the late Anthiese was implied to have traveled with them.

Mintstar still had trouble believing it, and she knew Duckfoot didn't believe it at all. However, he was still cautious enough to keep an extra eye on his kin, hardly ever letting them out of his sight nowadays. If only we could have one moment of peace, Mintstar thought ruefully, missing the days where she could walk through her territory without the fear of being attacked by rogues. She needed to do something, but it was hard facing an enemy when she didn't know anything about them or where they made camp among the pines.

- flamestar, the queen, and runningkit were taken into pineclan. all were renamed flamefang, waxwhisker, and poppykit respectively.
- birchkit, ashkit, and elmkit have their apprentice ceremonies.
- all apprentices but maplepaw have their training sessions.
- weaselstorm and shadeleaf performs a check-up on waxwhisker.
- larkclaw, minkcloud, maplepaw, and acornclaw go on a hunting patrol. / night
- rowanpelt, duckfoot, fawnfur, and blissheart go on a border patrol. / day
- +1 cobwebs and +1 marigold are used for magpiewhisker's wounds.
- shrikeface, feeling a surge of anger wash over him seeing his son wounded, goes out into the night by himself to confront and teach the rogue who harmed him a lesson. ( i personally wouldn't mind if you choose to kill or severely injure him! admittedly i have some ideas if that happens. )

- pineclan's south eastern neighbors, seaclan, chased off an angered badger that fled towards pineclan's land. as of now, they don't seem to know about their newest threat...
- clan consumes x2 thrushes and x1 squirrel.

- i have a couple of cats i received from disbanded clans/raffles/events! you can have my clan find them as time goes by.
