The brown and white she-cat was chatting with the newly apprenticed Appleblossom and Fogfall when she heard yowls of pain coming from the Nursery, and her eyes met Splashpelt's from across the camp. "Snowbird." Heading towards the old, washed up beaver den, the leader pushed her way inside to see the strained body of Snowbird with her mate, Jayfrost, shuffling his paws in worry beside her. "She's in a a lot of pain..and she wants only Splashpelt in the den." He meowed, his words sending a twisting feeling in the pit of Olivestar's stomach. As he spoke, she sensed a feeling of secrecy, and looking down at Snowbird's worried face confirmed this. Splashpelt was busy pushing a stick over for Snowbird, seeming unphased by the strange behavior of her two clanmates as Olivestar glared up at Jayfrost. "You two are hiding something from me. What's going on? Splashpelt, you know too."
Uneasy, Splashpelt glanced up at Olivestar and then back towards the tom, eyeing him. "You need to tell her. Olivestar will understand, she might even be able to he-" The Medicine Cat stopped speaking as Snowbird convulsed, her body giving a faint ripple as a kit was born. Quickly, she bit the sack and licked the kitten swiftly, pushing it towards Snowbird for milk and warmth. "A she-cat, she's very healthy looking." For a few moments, the argument was forgotten as PebbleClan witnessed new life in it's grasp. These moments of peace were short lived when Snowbird cleared her throat, taking a few moments to speak. "Olivestar, I love PebbleClan with all my heart. My loyalty to it can't be tested, I will never leave it.. but a few moons ago I spent the night with a tom from another Clan. These kits.. they aren't from Jayfrost and I. The real father wanted half of the kits I bore tonight, his clan is in need of more cats." When she finished speaking, the leader was silenced by shock. She hadn't even had a chance to experience what the Clans surrounding her own were like, yet here Snowbird was, mingling with them freely. "We need your help..transporting the kits to him depending on how many Snowbird has." Jayfrost explained, wincing as Snowbird's body rippled again, another kit coming out. Splashpelt repeated the process of breaking the sack open with her teeth and licking the kit's fur, pushing it towards Snowbird gently. "A tom After feeling your flank, those are all the kits you will have. We have to act fast," She meowed, looking up to Olivestar with pleading eyes. "I knew about this, but only very recently. I didn't tell you because it was so personal to Jayfrost and Snowbird. I think you should slip out the back of the den with Jayfrost, I'll tell the others to stay away from the Nursery and Larksong can keep Pearkit and Turtlekit in her nest tonight."
It took a few moments for everything to sink in, and Olivestar realized she would be greatly tested as a leader tonight. StarClan..please guide me and send me your strength. "Okay. Snowbird, which kit are we taking with us?" She asked, looking down at the heartbroken queen, who took a few moments to nuzzle the she-kit by her side. "This one, the little girl. She has been drinking milk this whole time, she's better fed.. she'll make the journey through the woods a bit better than the tom who was just born." Her words were on the edge of tears, and she had to look away as Jayfrost knelt down to pick up the tiny kit in his mouth, who squealed in protest. "Snowbird, you are a strong and amazing warrior of PebbleClan. Get lots of rest, we will make sure this kit makes it safe and sound, but they will always be a PebbleClan cat at heart."

After visiting the moonpool, Birdstar had come home and rested in her den. The very next day, she remained in her den thinking of the choices Starclan had given her. As this matter was about her clan, she spent long hours thinking of it. By late afternoon she had made her choice. She finally crawled out her den and stood high above the camps floor. A knocked over tree resting on rocks was the perfect place to stand where she could see her whole clan. She yowled and called everyone over. The apprentices excitedly ran over and stood right in front. Rabbitnose emerged from her den and quietly sat down and the remaining warriors also came out from their dens.

"Hello everyone. There are some things I would like to announce," she begun. "First of all, I would like you all to welcome Dustpaw, a new apprentice we found. Please treat him well." There was some murmuring and cats licked Dustpaw's head. He looked a little embarrassed.

"Dustpaw also will need a mentor and that is what I would like to do now. Please step forward, Dustpaw," she beckoned with a friendly twitch of her tail. He stepped forward and stood directly below Birdstar. He nervously looked around and Birdstar purred in his direction to calm him. "Dustpaw's mentor will be... Whitecoal."

Whitecoal jumped to his paws and walked to the front. He looked into Dustpaw's eyes and Dustpaw looked into his. Finally, Whitecoal gave him a friendly lick to the head. "Birdstar, I promise to train him well," he said, looking up at her.
"I believe that you will," she replied with a nod. "Now, to our next business to discuss. As you all may know, we don't have a deputy." At the sound of that, Rabbitnose fidgeted with her paws. "I went to speak with Starclan about this and they have given me some choices. I have thought about these choices and I have picked the best possible choice." She looked over her clanmates and closed her eyes.

"Bramblestep, please step forward."
"Whaaaat!? Me!?" he yelled.
"Yes, you," she said with a smile. Bramblestep reluctantly walked over to her and stood where Dustpaw once stood. "Bramblestep, after Rabbitnose you were the first warrior to join my clan. Since you've been here from basically the start, I think you are the only choice for my deputy. I hope you can be Acornclan for many moons to come." Bramblestep was shocked. Between him and the other cats, he was going to be deputy? He was nervous and unsure but respected Birdstar's choice. The other cats begun to cheer his name and congratulated him. From afar, Dapplecloud gave him a smile before she turned away from him. Blossompaw ran over to her mentor and congratulated him. After the ceremony, normal clan life resumed.

Dapplecloud felt embarrassed about the look she gave Bramblestep. She must have looked so stupid... "Dapplecloud, are you listening?" Greypaw said and brought her back to reality.
"What is it?" she scowled.
"I-i was wondering if we could go hunting again..."
"Ah, I guess you've earned it. Sure..." she said and lead him away. As they walked past, she avoided looking in Bramblestep's direction...

xxxxxthe cats gathered around the stonerock yowled the new warrior’s name in a high, ringing wail as the former tenderfoot licked the matriarch’s shoulder before stepping back and dipping his head respectfully. eaglefrost, mooseleaf’s mentor, was beaming with pride and purring — after all, her apprentice was a praelia now. playfully, she flicked her dappled tail over his ears and he shoved her shoulder with his own good-naturedly in response.

xxxxx“welcome, praelia mooseleaf. I know you have waited a long time for this day.” the matriarch, summitstar, spoke quietly to the tom, who gave a small, warm little purr. she was the mother, the leader of the clan, and alongside eaglefrost had become a sort of foster mother to the orphaned tom. he touched his nose to her ear.

xxxxx”thank you, matriarch. and my mentor. for everything.” the praelia blinked fondly at the two-she-cats, although his eyes held some sorrow, and eaglefrost nudged him gently with affection. “when the clan found me in the desert, i knew my life would change. this is my home, now — my family. this is where i belong. thank you both.”

the smoke-colored tom let out a sharp snarl, his teeth bared as he lashed out at ivy. "traitor," he hissed, his ears lying flat against his skull. his claws raked across ivy's shoulder, and she let out a gasp of surprise, recoiling. they had been mates, once, and ivy had carried his kits until the rogue group's leader had killed them. she felt no love towards him, now, and felt more gratitude towards even the clan cats who had approached them with kindness. beside her, bat's yellow eyes flashed dangerously. ivy felt a sudden surge of pride that he was beside her, and not smoke. bat surged forwards, his broad shoulder crashing into smoke as he drove him backwards, his voice a low spat when he spoke. "don't," he warned simply, his unsheathed claws digging into the thick grass at his feet. "she'll kill you," smoke warned, swallowing hard. he spoke of the rogue leader's group with a mixture of admiration and utter horror. "we won't let that happen," tangledvine stated firmly, his striped pelt blending with the shadowy grass. with another last, small glare at bat and ivy, smoke whirled around and slunk off, his tail low and ears flat, dreading the explanation that the rogue's leader was sure to demand. no matter - ivy and bat were safe, for now, and, in their opinions, that was all that mattered.

(One moon ago)
Stormfang signaled with his tail to stop. The four cats in his patrol did as told, looking around the area warily. The solid gray warrior meowed quietly, "This is the place." Oakshadow's eyes narrowed as the tabby tom remarked drily, "I think we can all tell that from here." Stormfang ignored the sarcasm from the tom as he ordered, "Vinescratch, Mintnose, go left. Stay close to each other. Nightwing, Oakshadow, to the right." The SeaClan warriors nodded and went off, leaving the solid gray tom alone. Stormfang began to press forward, the reek of badger in the air threatening to burn his nostrils. Suddenly, cats' yowls filled the air as the growls of a badger sounded. Stormfang's hairs stood on end as he recognized Mintnose and Vinescratch's yowls. Even if he didn't like the gray-and-white warrior, he'd have to save him, as he didn't want to displease Leafstar. Stormfang saw a flash of black and brown as he saw Nightwing and Oakshadow, much younger cats than he, dashing past him toward the fight scene. A low hiss escaped his jaws as the solid gray tom pushed on.

The badger was bigger than any of the cats had expected. Its massive black-and-white pelt was criscrossed already with red streaks of blood when Stormfang had arrived. Foaming at the mouth with rage, the large creature lunged at Mintnose, who already was limping badly from what looked like a broken paw; Stormfang saw Vinescratch fling himself at the maddened badger, claws unsheathed. The solid gray tom saw that the badger turn its attention to the new cat and bared its massive fangs at the gray-and-white warrior. It arched its back and shook violently, eventually flinging Vinescratch into a bramble bush, where the warrior struggled to get off from. Stormfang had seen enough. The solid gray tom let out a bloodcurdling warcry and slashed out at the badger. The black-and-white creature roared with rage and pain as it attempted to flatten the gray tom; at the same time, however, Nightwing and Oakshadow came in from another side and slashed at the beast with their own claws. With a roar, the badger disengaged; the beast took one last look at the cats and, with another roar, it lumbered away, toward the PineClan border. Stormfang and Oakshadow gave chase until it disappeared over the boundaries of SeaClan's territory.

The patrol did not say anything until the badger had gone; when it had, and the two toms had returned, Nightwing spoke up, "We should let Leafstar know the badger went to PineClan." Nodding, Stormfang meowed, "All right. We should get going." Turning to Vinescratch, who had managed to free himself from the thorny branches with minor scratches, the gray tom asked, "You all right?" The gray-and-white tom nodded, meowing embarrassedly, "I can't believe I let that badger throw me around like that!" Whiskers twitching slightly with amusement, Stormfang turned to Mintnose, who was limping heavily. The gray Maine coon she-cat meowed reassuredly, "It's a broken paw, I'll live through it." Nightwing meowed, "We'd better get that looked over when we go back." Stormfang nodded, "Then let's go."

<Back at camp>
Leafstar was pacing back and forth in front of the Clan camp's back exit. The sandy brown tabby tom could only hope nothing bad had happened to any of his warriors. Ivypaw, acting as scout, came running in. Leafstar stopped the young tabby-and-white tom, meowing, "The patrol?" Ivypaw replied breathlessly, "All five are coming back, but Mintnose is limping and Vinescratch has some scratches on him." Leafstar nodded and ordered, "Get Honeytuft for me." Ivypaw nodded and disappeared into the medicine cat's chamber, only to emerge again with the honey-colored tom right behind him. Honeytuft meowed, a slight scowl on his otherwise-passive face, "I'd need bindweed and sticks if any of her limbs are broken..." Sighing softly, the medicine cat and the leader of SeaClan awaited the arrival of the patrol.

Stormfang was the first to arrive. He dipped his head to Leafstar and Honeytuft, meowing, "Mintnose's paw is broken, doubtlessly the badger's doing. Vinescratch was flung into a bramble bush, but he should be okay." Honeytuft nodded slowly as he looked over Stormfang, finally remarking, "Well, looks like you don't have any wounds." Nodding gratefully, Stormfang stood to the side as Nightwing and Vinescratch came in, flanking Mintnose, who was limping heavily. The gray Maine coon she-cat growled softly, "I almost barreled into the thing! If I'd known better I'd not have a broken paw." Honeytuft soothed, leading the injured she-cat to his chamber, "It'll be fine. Poppy seeds will help you not feel too much pain while I look for the herbs for you." Vinescratch mewed softly, "May I go see Brightstream please?" Leafstar gave the gray-and-white tom a long look before nodding at last. With a grateful dip of the head, the warrior disappeared into the tunnel leading down to the nursery. Nightwing meowed, glancing at Stormfang for a bit, "We sent the badger packing, but it went straight toward PineClan." Leafstar sighed, meowing, "We should let the PineClan cats know..." Oakshadow, who came in just now, meowed, "We should rest first, I think." The sandy brown tom nodded wearily, "At least the badger couldn't have gone too far in."

At that moment, a hesitant voice from the outside of the front camp entrance piped up, "Uhhh hello?" Turning around, Leafstar, Stormfang, Nightwing, Vinescratch, Ivypaw, and Oakshadow saw that it was a black-and-white tom who was standing timidly. Leafstar cautioned for his cats not to attack as he replied, "Yes?" The tom mewed, a bit more confident that no one had attacked him thus far, "Starry cats came to me saying that I should search for 'SeaClan'. Is this the place?" The SeaClan leader nodded gratefully, "You are the warrior StarClan has sent to us, then. What is your name?" "Patch," the black-and-white tom replied, "but I heard I'd get my name changed somewhat if I stay here." Nodding, Leafstar mewed, "All right then. I will call to the rest of my Clan."

The rest of the cats who had gone on patrols were coming back as Leafstar declared, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet here, around the Meeting Ledge, for a Clan meeting!" The apprentices and warriors gathered as Silverstorm came out of the nursery, preventing the curious kits from bounding out. Leafstar began, "Cats of the Clan! Today, we drove out the badger that had moved into our territory! Although Mintnose sustained a broken paw, and Vinescratch came with some scratches, none of our cats have received heavy injuries!" The cats that had been part of the battle patrol held their heads up proudly as the Clan cheered.

Leafstar then continued, "Now, we have been visited by Patch, a cat sent to us by StarClan, tonight. I wished for a warrior to join our ranks, and they have granted us the wish by sending him. Please," he added, "come to the front." Patch came to the front of the clearing as the SeaClan leader meowed, "I, Leafstar, leader of SeaClan, call upon StarClan to look down on this cat. He has expressed his desire to join our Clan and learn of your noble code. Patch," he continued, "do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend the Clan, even at the cost of your life?" The black-and-white tom did not flinch as he meowed, "I do." Leafstar nodded and replied, "Then, by the power of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From this day forth, you shall be known as Patchcloud. StarClan honors your determination and confidence, and we welcome you as a full member of SeaClan." The sandy brown tom leapt down from his ledge just as the newly-named warrior bowed his head. Leafstar laid his nose on Patchcloud, at which the black-and-white tom respectfully licked his shoulder in return. The camp erupted at once with shouts of "Patchcloud!" as all of SeaClan welcomed their newest member.

(Now)
Tundra came back from a morning swim in the sea to see Stormfang waiting for him. Blinking in surprise, the former rogue went up to the solid gray tom. Stormfang looked up and dipped his head in greeting to the brown-pelted tom, meowing, "Leafstar told me to ask you to join our hunting patrol to the Pine Grove. He said he's taking the mentors and apprentices to the river to teach the youngsters how to fish properly." Tundra mewed wistfully, "I wish I could go to fish at the river myself to hunt." The solid gray tom soothed, "Perhaps next time, Tundra." The Siberian tom nodded and mewed briskly, nodding toward Oakshadow and Dustflower, who were waiting for him as well, "Then let's go." Nodding, the cats headed out toward the Pine Grove.

Unbeknownst to the cats, a pair of beady eyes watched from the air. A black-feathered bird pinpointed the location of the hunting patrol as the four cats disappeared into the thick foliage of the forest. Letting out a caw, the sleek bird banked to the right and disappeared into the thickest part of the Pine Grove. The cats below had only heard its call from below.

It isn't time yet, it had warned to its kind, when we become stronger.

"Who are you?" a young she-cat blocked the way of Swiftsky and Emberblaze's patrol. "I'm Spark!" their vibrant fur fluffed up playfully, reminding Swiftsky with a note of sadness how he had been finding warriors for CloudClan just a few moons ago like this. "Who are you?" they continued. "I'm Skysta-" the tom paused, his gaze flickering away with embarrassment. "He's Swiftsky, and I'm Emberblaze." with a note of confusion Swiftsky - or Skystar as he had been known - was just about to growl at his warrior when he remembered now Emberblaze was his boss. All Swiftsky could do was sit there making a fool of himself as he recalled past events. "I'm looking for CosmoClan! This cat who was called Foggy or Misty or whatever said for me to find them!" Spark announced, practically jumping up and down. "You saw Misty?" Swiftsky blurted out. "Yeah! Are you CosmoClan?" she said, changing the subject as she sniffed excitedly. "CloudClan-" "CosmoClan is where we come from." Skystar - well Swiftsky - was just about to growl but instead he feebly unsheathed his claws before sheathing them again. "Can I follow your patrol then?" Emberblaze nodded, "Sure. We are just going back to camp." the three cats made their way back to camp, each with different emotions. Skystar was struggling with hisworries about CloudClan, Emberblaze could feel his leader's sadness but tried to not turn it into an awkward conversation, while Spark bounced around, oblivious.

dash + cheeto

peeking her head out of her makeshift den, dash warily looked around. she was looking for any sign of predators out there. though she saw nothing, dash sniffed the air. still she couldnt make anything out. from within the abandoned fox den came and old voice. must you do this every morning, dash? theres nothing out there. there has never been anything out there. nothing will ever be out there. move aside now. the old tom lectured, getting to his paws. he pushed past dash, exiting the den. huffing, dash followed after him, her gaze hard. id rather be safe than sorry, you crazy old cat. what if there was a fox out here and i just bounded out? wed both be dead. dash muttered, padding up to cheeto. she pressed her flank against his, guiding him toward the stream that he drank from every morning. its about my time anyways. cheeto said, shaking his head. dash, ive lost my sight, not my sense of direction. im pretty sure i can walk a few tail lengths to get to a stream that i pad to every time i want a drink. dash rolled her eyes. fine. if you dont need my help then i wont give you any. im going to go hunt. stay here. with that dash jumped over the stream, bounding into the forest.

dash

running into the forest, dash growled. for moons now she had dealt with cheeto and his lectures. he criticized everything she did. now she was done with it. she wanted nothing more to do with the old cat. she just wanted to run away and leave him to rot away. in the back of her mind, though, a voice of reason fought with her. it told her that she couldnt leave cheeto on his own. she had spent so many moons living with and taking care of the old cat that she was just so used to his presence. without him to talk to she wouldve lost her mind moons ago. sighing, dash began to feel guilty for feeling mad at him. he was right, she did watch over him like a hawk, eyeing his every movement when he was perfectly fine on his own. if she ever told him that he was right then shed never hear the end of it until he died.

shaking her head, dash slowed to a halt. she was just realizing that she had no clue where she was. she had been too lost in thought to notice that she ran out of their territory. the terrain was totally different. instead of pine trees growing tall, willow trees dotted the hilly area. wind rustled the tall grass and fronds on the willows. because of this dash didnt notice the bush behind her shaking, something within it. turning around to head back home, dash froze, seeing the moving bush. dashs first thought was that there was a cat within the shrubbery, but when she scented the air dash caught the scent of vole. crouching low to the ground, dash inched forward. once she was close enough she sprang, but the rodent mustve seen her for it turned and ran. not wanting to let the vole get away dash ran after it, determined too catch it. closing the gap between her and the vole, dash lunged forward, grabbing it between her teeth and killing it.

ambereyes + cheeto

padding side by side her brother, ambereyes and forestsight walked further and further into the willow forest. they were going out to hunt. once they reached a certain point the two split off. ambereyes headed left and forestsight headed left. usually the pair wouldve hunted together, going after the same prey, but today the siblings thought it would be better if they split up. if they split up then there might be a better chance to catch more prey. heading off to the left, ambereyes walked for a little while. pausing, she scented the air. immediately she caught the fresh scent of vole. all she had to do now was find it and kill it. following the scent trail, ambereyes soon came across a plump vole mindlessly nibbling on a seed. getting low to the ground ambereyes skulked toward the rodent. leaping forward she caught it under her claws, swiftly killing it.

happy with her catch ambereyes started back to the spot where she and her brother had parted. thats where they would meet up to walk back to camp. along the way ambereyes paused, hearing what sounded like a voice calling out. confused, ambereyes padding toward the voice. in the distance the she-cat saw and older looking tom wandering around. he was calling out the name dash. dropping her vole, ambereyes said, hello? what are you doing out here? the old tom paused, turning his head toward ambereyes. dash? no, youre not dash. her voice holds more spite. your voice has more joy. he mumbled. im looking for a cat. her name is dash. ambereyes nodded, wanting to help the old cat. alright the,what does dash look like? there was a short pause before cheeto spoke. im not sure. im blind, have been for many moons, so ive never seen her before. ambereyes nodded, just now noticing the glass look that his eyes had. well then, lets go find this dash. picking her vole up cheeto and ambereyes started back the way that cheeto came from.

parting with his sister, forestsight headed of to the left. he eyed the forest, looking for any unusual movement. prey was getting more abundant now that it was green leaf, but yet forestsight still saw nothing. padding farther and farther into the willow forest, forestsight was quickly caught off guard when a flash of black surged past him. jumping back, forestsight looked to the right, but whatever had run past him was out of sight. running after the flash of black, forstsight quickly came upon another cat. this one had a vole in her mouth. i believe that belongs to us. the black cat quickly turned around, dropping the vole at her paws. excuse me? i caught it making it mine. dash growled, sliding the vole underneath her. she stood her ground, standing tall. you may have caught it, but on our land, thus making it ours. forestsight retorted. what do you mean by ours? who else is here!? dash glanced around, trying to see if another cat was around. from her right dash saw two figures moving toward them. cheeto and some other cat.

believe, dash, he means our as in him and his clan. cheeto said, facing his companion. before dash could ask the old cat if he had truly lost his mind and actually trusted the two strangers, forestsight stepped in and explained to dash what willowclan was. dash, theyre inviting us to live with them in their clan. this is just what weve been looking for. a safe place to call home. somewhere where we can easily obtain food. and a place that will keep you busy and happy. dash paused, then finally sighed, giving into the old cat. i cant get rid of you, can i? lets join this clan then.

willowstar

sitting outside of the nursery, willowstar stared up at the dimming sky. stormcall sat by his side. they were discussing places to find more prey and better hunting strategies. but tonight was the full moon which meant that the leader had to go to the moonpool. saying goodbye to his mate, willowstar padded out of camp. he bounded through the forest, taking the path to the moon cavern where the moonpool sat. glancing up at the sky, the sun dipped below the horizon and the moon rose. reaching the entrance to the moon cavern, willowstar descended into it. his paw steps echoed against the stone walls, everything getting darker. soon he reached the bottom where the cavern opened up just enough for a cat to fit. kneeling beside the waters edge, he touched his nose to the water, falling into slumber.

when willowstar awoke, he sighed. even though he had slept through the night, he didnt feel rested. the visits to the moonpool seemed to drain his energy. standing up, willowstar stretched his limbs, yawning. he headed back up the slope to exit the moon cavern. exiting the cavern willowstar stared up at the still very dark sky. very groggily willowstar made his way back to camp. by now he had memorized the path back to camp. soon he reached the camp. he nodded to forestsight who sat, keeping guard outside of the entrance. entering the camp willowstar headed toward the nursery. once there he laid down beside stormcall and snowkit, falling asleep.

quickclaw

early morning light filtered through the warriors den, waking quickclaw. she had always been a light sleeper, getting very little sleep due to disturbances. but now that she and lostsight have joined willowclan, quickclaw has been able to get more sleep each night. she figured its because she felt more safer, more secure than she had when living out in the forest with lostsight. standing up, quicklclaw shook moss from her fur. she quietly padded out of the den, not wanting to wake the two other warriors. before she exited the den, she peeked her head out and looked around, an old habit that she couldnt seem to shake. padding out of the den, quickclaw nodded to willowstar who was leaving the nursery. grabbing a vole from the fresh kill pile quickclaw headed to the elders den to see lostsight. upon entering the dimly lit den, quickclaw dropped the prey at lostsights paws. he was still asleep, so quickclaw left him be.

jumping ontop of the tree roots to address the clan, willowstar looked to quickclaw. wake up the other warriors please. he ordered. quickclaw nodded and headed back toward the warriors den. though quickclaw had only been part of the clan for a few months willowstar felt that she might make a good deputy, but he also knew that forestsight was trying to win that position. now the two cats, both wanting to prove themselves, were going head to head to try and impress willowstar. to be honest it amused the leader, but he knew that he had to be mature about it, but more so the two warriors had to be more mature about it. from the warriors den came the three warriors, quickclaw leading the trio. today the four of us are going to hunt then patrol the borders. he announced. usually he would split everyone up into two groups, but today he felt that in hunting theyd have more luck to catch something if they went as a larger group. jumping off of the tree roots willowstar lead the patrol out of camp.
