Fishlets is looking for artists: both Fishlet and Item!
There is no set closure date, myself or my co-owner will post a warning before we close them.

If you do not feel comfortable posting on the thread, you can pm them to me, Teaski.

You must be willing to join the Discord to communicate with fellow staff members.

How active can you be as an archivist?: I am quite active! I generally log onto chicken smoothie & discord a few times a day. On days I'm working I'm more active after 7pm est.
When it's made, are you comfortable learning how our archive works?: Yes!
Do you have previous experience as an UMA archivist?: I am a co-owner of the UMA gleeps, and currently manage and update all our various archives! I also used to be a garden keeper for a short time for emblings when they were active.

How active can you be as an archivist?: Very active, lots of free time so can check multiple times a day.
When it's made, are you comfortable learning how our archive works?: yes! I have a decent amount of experience on excel, Google docs and Google sheets but would be willing to take time to grasp whatever system is in place c:
Do you have previous experience as an UMA archivist?: I am the current Archivist for Gekkons and I keep it up to date whenever there is an update on site or on discord.

Fish Examples:

This is my first example! I wanted to draw the fish with a theme of it being see-through, additionally I also wanted to play with the colors of the heat vision color palette. I wanted to have fun with the fish bones, if it isn't clear, and I also understand heat vision doesn't exactly work on fish underwater; it was just a fun idea.


This is my second entry, which got the edited lines! I call him the were-fish. If you can't tell, he follows the werewolf skit: got big claws, pointy fins, and a very big rectangular brow, which makes it clear he is very mad. I added a tooth growing out from under the mouth just to make him look "scarier". I was hearing Thriller from MJ, which was the exact thing that gave me the motivation to draw this fish lol.

How active can you be as an artist?: Quite active! I just entered a long break as I finished my semester, so rn I'm gonna be very active unless I say otherwise!!
Do you have previous experience as a UMA artist?: None, but I have been active in many UMAs and I wanted to try it out as an artist! But I understand if y'all are looking for more expirienced personel!

Why would you be a good fit for Fishlets?: I have over a decade's worth of moderation and managing experience, and as such am very familiar with the responsibilities that come with the position <3 I have no issue enforcing rules, but also consider myself a friendly person, and always do my best to deescalate conflict when it arises

How active can you be as a moderator?: I'm online typically six days a week for at minimum of two hours, though often exceeding six+. (most active between 10:30am CST - 6:00pm CST)

Do you have previous experience as a moderator?: I've worked as a moderator across several different UMAs, such as Twilight Ferrets and The Meerkat Joint (listed as dovepawlover). I have also managed my own UMA on and off for 13 years. While many of the UMAs I moderated for have long since closed down (most were active 2012-2017) I can provide additional links if requested!

Why would you be a good fit for Fishlets?: I love the uma community and would be happy to help moderate and keep things in order, maybe later I might try for an artist position as well because I absolute adore the lines and would love to create even just little one of ones.

How active can you be as a moderator?: casual to extremely active, currently home all the time and I am australian, so my timezone would have me active at times other moderators would be asleep.
Do you have previous experience as a moderator?: I have been a moderator in multiple roleplay servers and such.

How active can you be as an artist?: I'd like to be a casual artist, kinda making some guys when I have the motivation/when I feel like it!! I go through spurts of energy and focus on different things but my main focus will always be sluggums !
