Exploration is OPEN

one action per week: Monday–Friday

Here, you can send your Alchemites (or a borrowed one) on a gathering expedition to nearby discovered locations. You may find a variety of resources, and stories tell that sometimes Alchemites uncover strange things not even recorded in the Codex - or even bring back Alchemites long thought lost.

Come prepared - no one knows what lurks in the darkness.

xxxBasic exploration rules:

✧ You must have an up-to-date co-op to participate.

✧ Your exploration group may visit one location and perform one action per week (Monday–Friday). Results will be posted over the weekend.

✧ The number of Alchemites that can participate in an expedition is specified for each location. [added on 03.07]

✧ The number of Alchemites participating in an expedition only affects the amount of Mana Sparks received. It does not, however, affect the remaining loot found in the drop table, nor does it influence the frequency or outcome of random encounters. [added on 03.07]

✧ Only certain activities are available to non-owners (please use the designated non-owner form). To access the rest, you must own at least one Alchemite and meet any additional requirements (if applicable).

✧ Forms can be edited until the rollover (Friday into Saturday). However, if you make any changes, please clearly state the reason for the edit at the bottom of your post. Please ensure everything is correct, as unnoted edits or mistakes after the deadline may still result in being skipped.

✧ In your form, please choose which Roll type you want to use: [added on 03.07]

active – with a chance for an additional encounter, but it may sometimes require extra reading or interaction
idle – ignores all lore elements and any injuries sustained by your Alchemites, but offers no chance for any additional encounters; you only receive half of the regular bonding points, and loot is rolled strictly from the basic table (still, this is a great option for those who have more important things on their plate or are tight on time ^^)

✧ Feel free to customize and decorate your form as you wish, but all key information must remain intact and clearly readable.

✧ All times are based on CS time to avoid confusion.

✧ Please wait until the previous results are posted or until a reservation post is made. I’ll do my best to post everything as soon as possible!

Leaving the Veiled Bazaar behind, you arrive at the Crossroads, where winding paths - some well-trodden, others nearly forgotten - branch out in all directions. At the very center stands a large wooden notice board, covered in all kinds of parchments and notices - requests, rumors, and messages left by passing travelers.

I’ve seen some of you novices dragging your Alchemites through the woods by force! That is unacceptable! Remember to care for the bond you share with your Alchemite, and it will surely reward you in return.

Old Notices
Some of the notices seem to have been hanging here for a very long time, their ink long faded by the passage of time. Among them, you can find various requests posted by different guilds - tasks involving gathering specific materials and tools, or dealing with nearby threats.

The event form does not provide the standard drops available at Lumin Meadows. As per usual... prepare your Healing Potions, they might come in handy :>

✧ Weather affects its success rate - it is significantly lower when the sky is not clear.

Jagged peaks that pierce the sky like ancient fangs. The winds howl through the cliffs, carrying echoes of something long forgotten - or perhaps not entirely gone. It is said that deep within the mountains, something still slumbers beneath stone and flame.

A scattered chain of small islands drifting across dark, restless waters. The tides here do not follow any known rhythm, and the shoreline is never quite the same twice. Fragments of ancient structures can be found half-submerged - silent witnesses to a past swallowed by the sea.

A mysterious land far to the north, resting at the very edge of the known world. Ancient legends speak of a cataclysmic battle that took place here centuries ago - a clash between entities from beyond this realm. The conflict left the land shattered and lifeless, erasing all that once thrived here.

Yet, echoes of that battle still remain. Fragments of immense power linger in the soil, taking on unstable, chaotic forms. From time to time, this energy tears open violent rifts to other dimensions - appearing and vanishing without warning. Within these broken lands, lost artifacts and remnants of that ancient conflict still await those daring enough to seek them.
