Prettying Up ☙
Nesting Hollows posts should be
entirely plaintext, or at most have a single size change (no size below 85) or list.
❧
Searchable IDs ☙
Please make sure that all of user IDs are searchable.
User IDs are the string of numbers attached to your profile URL. Ex: My ID is 344558. ❧
Nesting Limits & Cooldowns ☙
A single catshee may only breed up to 2 times (or up to 4 times, with special curios and Adventuring bonuses) total.
Once a catshee has nested, it cannot nest again for 45 days, starting when the nest request was accepted. Special nesting curios may be used to reset this cooldown.
Once a user posts a nest request, they cannot post another for 30 days, starting when the nest request was posted. Curios can be used to reset this cooldown, and users may be participants in other users’ nests during this cooldown, but just cannot request their own.
❧
Interbreeding ☙
Catshee may not nest with other catshee of the same origin band or nest, and cannot nest with any of their relatives. If related catshee nest by accident (i.e. the artist did not fully check both lineages) and it is found out later, all offspring from the nest and any of their descendants will lose all of their nesting slots.
❧
Commissioned Nests ☙
When staff have worked on enough non-commissioned catshee, they may open up commissioned slots, including nests. These closed nest requests will be posted on the Discord alerts channel. Nesting artists may set up limitations for these, such as allowing or not allowing free items to be used in the nest or allowing only certain growth types.
These commissioned slots can be sold for whatever currency the artist prefers (irl currency, C$, pets, art, etc.) but all commissioned nests must be done through the Discord.
Additional information, and pricing, of commissioned nests can be found here.Unlike customs/commissioned customs, commissioned nests and all resulting offspring do count against the ownership limit.
❧
Distributing Offspring ☙
Once a nest is posted, the requesting user
must post a Nest Distribution post to the Changelog to use as Proof of Ownership. If you wish to surrender unwanted beans to the Wayward, you will do so using the distribution form as well. Users must decide between themselves which offspring will go to who. Arguing or fighting over offspring’s placements, or refusing to distribute offspring within 30 days of the nest being posted, may result in your account being marked for Limited Nesting, where your catshee may only nest with catshee that you own, or (if a serious enough violation) a ban from nesting entirely. If needed, a staff member can roll results for you as to who keeps what offspring.
Especially keep this in mind with nests with 3 user participants; without nesting curios being used,
there is no guarantee to the nest size. Please plan accordingly.

Personal Archiving. ☙
You must have an up-to-date post in the
Personal Archives to participate in the catshee adoptables, communities, and games. Please make sure to keep your personal archives up-to-date as all possible to prevent your forms being skipped.
❧
Notification of Changes ☙
Ownership changes of any kind should be noted in the
Archive Changelog within 1 week of the change.
❧
Selling/Trading Catshee ☙
Catshee should be owned for 30 days before before being rehomed, unless being surrendered to the Wayward. Catshee cannot be sold/traded for Spades, any currency (IRL or in-game), CS pets and items/offsite goods. They may be traded for other catshee or offerings (custom tickets). The exception are summons (customs), which may be sold, traded, or gifted freely. IRL currency sales should be taken offsite. Once you have sold, traded, or gifted a catshee, it may not be returned to you in any fashion for at least 90 days.
❧
Keep Your Records ☙
Due to the slightly complex nature of Adventuring, leveling, and currencies, please keep a good record of your experiences, and be sure to fill out all forms correctly to make searching for them easy in the future! While occasional mistakes are understandable, falsifying information (esp. for large purchases or catshee ownership) will bar you from participating in the adopts, events, nesting, or community any further.
❧
Ownership Limits ☙
Ownership Limits. Currently, a user may own up to 5 catshee. This limit will increase (or be removed) in the future, but for now we want everyone to get a chance, in the event that there are a lot of entries for catshee adoptions.
