BREEDING


This is where you can find everything you wish to know about how to pair your dorks up to get new pups!

- dorks who are 'related' cannot be bred together.

> dorks who were released together on the same day/with the same Tag ID cannot breed. Offspring of the same parents or grandparents cannot breed.

- third generation dorks cannot be bred.

> this means if your first gen (released as a 'litter drop') have offspring [2nd gen], the pups of the second gen litter cannot breed at all.

- wearable items applied to dorks will not be passed on.

> does not apply to changes applied to the dork with a coral fragment or an abalone shell.

- artists can turn down an application to breed dorks for any reason they wish.

> you're more than welcome to try again with a different artist. if you think your application being denied is truly unfair, contact eereii.

- only one active breeding slot per account

> plan as many breedings with your dorks as you wish, but you can only have one breeding slot in progress at any time.

- a dork can only be bred a total of three times within its entire 'lifespan.'

> if the dork changes ownership, the counter does not reset. however, in the future there may be an item you can purchase to reset it.

- bizarre dorks (created with the blue lobster item) cannot be bred.

> this is to prevent over-taxing an artist from any over-the-top designs.

Items necessary for Breeding:

Sea Urchin - 1,700 Scales
Allows for your dorks to breed, resulting in 1-2 pups.

Yeti Crab - 3,700 Scales
Allows for your dorks to breed, resulting in 3-5 pups.

If there are two accounts, a pairing will always result in an even number.

CUSTOMS


Here, if an artist has slots open, you can apply to get a custom dork designed!

- custom dorks must follow all CS rules

> this means no exact fandom dorks. they can take inspiration from copyrighted material, but must not match it.

- dorks can only be customized to match an oc if you own it.

> you must provide proof that the custom is yours.

- only bizarre dorks (see blue lobster item) can have unique base lineart.

> the pose cannot change, but a bizarre dork can have a completely re-drawn base lineart, different from the original.

- artists will have their own forums and openings.

> do not try to force an artist to open up a slot, or use a different forum than theirs.

- not all artists will accept every item.

> make sure you check in on each artists' page to see whether or not they accept abalone shells or coral fragments.

Items necessary for customs

Crab - 2,000 Scales
Can be exchanged for a custom dork without lineart changes

Lobster - 3,500 Scales
Can be exchanged for a custom dork with lineart changes.

Blue Lobster - N/A (Can only be found by Surveying or Random Events)
Can be exchanged for a bizarre custom dork (with extreme lineart changes). *Note; bizarre dorks cannot breed.

Coral Fragment - 700 Scales
Gives a 'color edit' option for preexisting dork. Does not change patterns or base.

Abalone Shell - 1,500 Scales
Changes the "base" art of your dork to a different species. (Eel, whale, thresher, etc). Does not change patterns or colors. View options here.

Hermit Crab - 1,250 Scales
Can be exchanged for a fully custom item.

Bottle of Ink - 650 Scales
Can be used to alter the color of any applied item.

Slot Information:

> These slots are NOT First come First Served.
> All you need is an item (Crab/Lobster, or Yeti Crab/Sea Urchin)!
> You can submit as many ideas/pairings as you want, but will only choose one per person.

> I will choose only one breeding and/or custom, earning a custom will not prevent you from earning a breeding slot and vice versa.
> You can edit forums as many times as you need up until rollover on Mar 28th - any forums edited after that will not be accepted.
> Try to keep all your ideas to one post, but its okay if you have a few different posts.
> If I have yet to accept a trade for scales, but its pending and preventing you from purchasing the necessary item, you can just mention that the proof is pending a scales trade!

> I will try to make sure every trade is accepted before I choose the customs.

General Guidelines:

> I wont do recolors on other artists' litters (i.e. I won't recreate patterns or designs based on others' litter designs) but I will do recolors on other artists' lines if permissions allow
>> This does not relate to Coral Fragment customs, which I will take as long as that litter artist allows!
> I might take up to a month to complete a custom or litter. if its taking longer, feel free to contact me about it.
> I will only provide wips if you ask for them
> I can do slight changes once you see your custom, but after that I won't do any more edits.
> I will try to prioritize making sure the items fit to the dorks, but if you order a bizarre dork this is no longer guaranteed.
