My favorite are the snow ones, the one that is like mochi almost, on the outside? They're pretty simple to make too.
Of course the choco or iced ones are good but.. For the traditional ones taro and red bean are my top picks.. Drool. I'd also rather have one tiny well made one than a whole box of the cheap ones.. It's not the same!
