welcome to the gooble festival's prompt page!

each day, a new prompt will be available for you to answer. each day of answered prompts will help the goobles get back home, and reveal a little more about them.

a staff member will post closings and announce winnings.
this booth closes every 12:00 am est (our rollover!)

participating will give you 5 worms and a turnip, while 'grand prize' winners will earn 10 worms and a cabbage instead!

the goobles have just landed on the goobies planet. their captain, gootenant marshmallow, is in charge of getting everyone home.





they look similar to goobies.. but also a bit different. they're awful silly, and maybe a little simple-minded.

why do they like worms so much..? is it okay for one creature to eat so many worms..?

you're starting to wonder how they made this spaceship at all.. and why gootenant marshmallow is the only one to know what to do.

when the spaceship is about 40% built.. you see some eggoos hatch from inside. out come three.. strange looking goobles



in exchange for worms.. they say they will tell you their secrets to looking so amazing!

hesitantly, worms are exchanged, and in return, their secrets are revealed. the first color-changing gooble spoke to a chameleon, the second long-bodied gooble ate a gummy worm, and the third animated-features gooble found and ate a goomelon from the farm! wow.. goobies have now learned three new traits!

you've discovered new traits from goobles.. what else is there to uncover?

gootenant marshmallow answers questions from some of the goobies.. and there is a chilling silence when he answers the final question.

this 'great voice' he speaks of.. is the gobbess.

she tells the goobles what to do through gootenant marshmallow, their leader, and by the sounds of it.. she tells them to eat everything.

perhaps it's not such a good idea to have them here after all..

let's finish the spaceship quickly.

gootenant marshmallow seems eager to leave, however, some of the others.. look sad.

a few have broken off from the flock altogether.. and are starting to mimic the goobies! oh my.. is that a gooble with horns?

prompt: Gootenant Marshmallow is deeply praised, highly respected, and has very high expectations of themselves. Standing much taller than other goobles at a whooping 4ft, they have a dominant aura that follows them wherever they go. Although somewhat intimidating on first impression, Gootenant Marshmallow follows their name as a big softie. They hate to admit their soft side, and say their name comes from the pale pink and blue gooble feathers! A large crest of multicoloured goo feathers adorns Gootenant Marshmallows head, which can be raised up or down at will. Beautiful black beady eyes either invite you to conversate or stare right through your soul. Gootenant Marshmallow isn't the gootenant for nothing though, which is evident through the one non-gooble leg. It is not wooden though- Gootenant Marshmallow will onlyn accept the best polished metal from their home planet. Because it is slightly shorter than the other leg, Gootenant Marshmallow walks with a slight limp.

prompt: maybe the gootenant is the strong silent type who fights for what they beliveve in no matter what the cost. They stand tall and proud in front of the other goobles as to show an example. They're always smartly dressed and reaady for battle.

The Gootenant is super head strong! She is an unexpected strong gal who won't hesitate to sacrifice herself for the greater good and for those she wants to protect. Always prepared.
She has beautiful colors that decorate her gooble feathers: royal blues, reds, purples and black in different funky patterns

Gootenant Marshmallow is a very proud and regal looking Gooble, looking a lot like what we would know as a silkie chicken, their very fluffy plumage always perfectly groomed and manicured, always the picture of a leader. The fact that their plumage covers their face gives them an air of mystery, nobody can read their expression or emotions except for those who are closest to them. It's quite helpful when it comes to negotiating with enemies and the like. There's no doubt that the white fluffy white Gooble, speckled with the most vibrant colors, is the best leader for this strange species.

prompt: When you think of a gootenant, most might expect a tall and well put together older gooble who others cower in fear at the sight of. However, Gootenant Marshmallow is young and full of pep to their step! Wild and a little unruly, Gootenant Marshmallow was promoted to gootenant shortly after entering the military for his smarts and dedication. They are very friendly, especially with the goobles they lead! I imagine them to have shining, colorful eyes and strawberry blonde fur with tons of freckle like spots!

prompt: The gootenant looks like a mashmallow peep in a lot of ways, soft, short, rather stout. I think despite this they also look very proud and confident in their position- even if their light yellow feathers make them look rather unassuming. I imagine them to have pink goo/membrane and bright blue eyes!
