Benedict tucked the kitty hoodie into his (seemingly bottomless) satchel, and the two wermz continued on. Suddenly, dark clouds began to gather above them, occluding the sun and promising rain. "We need someplace to shelter, and soon." Amaranth remarked- they were far from any building intact enough to shield them from the rain. Just after she spoke, the pair rounded a corner and spotted an explosion of green- trees? This close to the wastelands? Benedict gave his companion a curious look and approached; the island of greenery was encircled by a chain link fence, with a bramble bush woven tightly throughout it. Without a word, the two began to search for an entrance as rain began to fall. "Here! A tear!" Amaranth hissed, gesturing with her bright pink tail before disappearing through the fence. Benedict raced over and dove in behind her, squeaking as his fur caught on the sharp metal...
