Requests for my werm: to be based on this character (mine) or just over all purple with two pairs of wings and little floating stars, yellow eyes are a must! But other than that you can go ham ;3
anything to avoid: maybe don’t make the green too green if you’re including it (it’s more on the sea foam blue side to keep the pallet more coherent)

The post-apocalyptic setting of Wermz has been really resonating with me lately, so that could be fun to explore. Skuzzy little scavenger werm? Botanist of the wasteland? Mysterious vagabond? 🤔 I can see lots of possibilities there. Just a funny little guy to go scavenging with.

What else… I’m a big fan of simple designs with iconic silhouettes, basically anything that I can draw over and over in the margins of my notes. I'm also a sucker for black/white/grey/red palettes, or anything with earth tones and maybe some splashes of red, orange, or turquoise thrown in. At the end of the day I'm of the "go crazy go stupid" variety, though. It’s fun to see what people do when they take an idea and run with it. If inspiration takes you far away from anything here, then I will not stand in your way-- these ideas are more like starting places in the event the blank canvas feels too daunting.

Edit: WAIT. One more thing. It's an obscure hour of the night for me, so of course I made an inspiration playlist for this idea LOL. mostly silly songs with some mortifyingly sincere picks thrown in. As with everything else: no need to listen or use it if it doesn't inspire you, it's just there for ideas.

anything to avoid: All I can think of is stuff from closed practices/with strong cultural significance. As for more typical post-apocalyptic fare, I’m pretty good with monsters, horror, stuff like that, so I don’t anticipate any issues there.
