Rules wrote:All free CLs have a trade cooldown of 3 days.
This means a CL can only be traded for another CL from the same litter for up to 3 days after the litter was released. During this time, you cannot trade them for CLs from other litters, other UMAs, or any form of currency, including Stardust. This applies to any CL obtained for free, whether it be through litters, giveaways, or raffles.
CLs can be traded for CL and Stardust ONLY.
This rule is currently being changed! thank you ! For now please only trade CL for CL or Stardust. USD trades are fine but must still be approved by cakepopcat.
Any CLs from free litters/giveaways can only be sold for a maximum of 250 C$, unless they're also accompanied by art. You're allowed to swap them for other adoptable species, provided the other species owner allows it. Just make sure you post a form both here and on that species trading thread, and that you make sure the other species allows cross-trading!
When trading for C$, make sure to include a link that can be viewed by everyone.
This is so staff is able to confirm you're trading within the 250 C$ limit. You can do this by copying the link as shown in this graphic. If you don't include a link, you may be contacted by CL staff asking for one to be provided.[/b]
You can only sell Cloudy Leopards for USD if they have art accompanying them.
The USD offered cannot be more then the total amount spent on the artwork. As per CS rules, all USD trades must be discussed off-website. All USD trades must be approved by staff, so please contact a CL Staff member before you trade to get approval.
Trades will not be considered finalized until the initial trade post has been quoted and confirmed. Please make sure that your trade partner quotes to confirm the trade post you make, to ensure our records are accurate and both parties are happy with the trade.
A CL that's in an active breeding cannot be traded
This doesn't refer to planned breeding's, just breeding's that have already been posted and accepted by an artist. If you have a breeding that's currently being worked on, the CLs involved in that breeding cannot be traded until either the breeding is complete, or the breeding has been cancelled.
**NEW** A user must have a V.3 or higher archive to trade
This means if a user doesn't have an archive on this thread, they cannot be traded with. If a user only has an archive for V.1 or V.2, their CLs are unobtainable until they make a new archive.
