prompt:
everyone knows that sullivan can be a little over the top. nonetheless, the few buddies he has still are frequently caught off-guard by his tricks. on one night specifically, they received quite the scare from sullivan, as he led them down a long, poorly lit highway. he'd assured them that there was a great prize that laid in wait for them at the end, so they continued onward despite the constant creaks and cracks beneath them. suddenly, a thud sounded. the lights went out.
sullivan's friends hardly stayed around, fleeing. it wasn't until they noticed that sullivan wasn't with them, that they turned back and hesitantly searched for him. a flash of what appeared to be lightning then filled the room for a moment or so - revealing the awful tragedy of their friend, who'd been hit with some sort of arrow and presumably was no more. to keep things short, his friends basically fled from the hallway entirely. once he was sure they were gone, sullivan arose, removing the plastic arrow. he then pressed the hidden button beneath him, which allowed the lights to turn back on. a sigh escaped from him. sometimes, he really did outdo himself.
