Notice:
Foraging is temporarily open.
There will be no Deori to be found during this time.
This is only to stock up on berries, feathers, and
a chance to gather items.

Welcome to Deori's foraging center. Here you can
send out one of your Deo's to collect and gather
berries, sometimes you might find something other
than berries, like feathers or maybe another Deori
than you'll be able to recruit to your herd!

Recruitable Deori are not special/limited. This means
that there can be multiple that exist. However, after
some time they will retire and a new set will emerge.
You might even find yourself later on getting some
Deori with uncommon or even rare traits that you
won't find in litters.

Every user has 5 treats they can send out with
their selected Deori. These treats are free
from the foraging committee and replenish every
day as CS roll-over!

Guide for foraging:
You can send out your Deori multiple
times a day. There is not a cooldown
time at this moment, but you do have
to wait for the results from foraging
before sending them back out!

You may only send up to six Deo
out at one time. This is to help
decrease wait time and keep the mods
from having to do massive rolls for
super large groups.

At CS roll-over, everyone's treats reset
to 5. This gives you 5 chances to find and
catch another Deori.

Sending a Deori out with a foraging treat
increases the chances for finding another
Deori.

Sometimes, your Deori might bring back
an item that is not sold in the shop, if it
is the first one to find the item, there will
be no information on it until you use it.
Be careful though, because it might change
your Deori!

There's no treat in the store, they're free treats to use during foraging. I should clarify that, thank you for asking though!

Might want to clarify in the Guide For Foraging, too. It says that "Sending a Deori out with a foraging treat from the store increases the chances for finding another Deori", which is what confused me (:

That being said, can the same Deo forage multiple times per day? If so, is there a cooldown between forages, or could we fill out the foraging form five times in one post?

If you have multiple Deo, you can send them all out at once. If you only have one, you have to wait for them to come back from foraging to send them out again (which will usually take 1-3 hours). Once there's a post about their return, they're free to be sent back out!

Results from foraging

Xingeto Cædfel is back from foraging!

Xingeto seems to enjoy foraging, taking his time to explore the surrounding area. While foraging, he finds a small clearing with a lot of berry bushes! He carefully gathers each one until he notices some feathers stuck to the bush. With caution, Xingeto picks the feathers, examining them before tucking them inside the pouch he was given along with the berries.

Xingeto turns to leave, freezing as he sees a figure make it's way into the clearing. Will he be able to make a new friend?

Congratulations! Xingeto managed to gather 105 berries, 5 feathers, and brought a friend home with him!

Thanks for bearing with me through that Q&A session lmao. Also, the first word in my Deos' names are titles. Azahar means lady and xingeto means prince, so their names are actually Serein and Cædfel respectively. However, referring to them by their titles without an article attached is still proper, so you haven't addressed them inaccurately.

Xingeto Cædfel is back from foraging!

He went back to the clearing he went to previously, knowing that the berry bushes from before still have plenty of berries to gather. By the time he was done gathering berries, though, he realized how late it had gotten. He started his journey back, gathering what he could in the process.

Cædfel returns from foraging, bringing you 150 berries and 11 feathers!

Gia
Gia is back from foraging!

Gia was pretty indifferent when they were sent into the forest to forage. While foraging, they wander deep into the forest, picking up feathers along their path. They find a small bundle of berry bushes and begin to pick from them, careful not to accidentally squish and ruin any of the berries. While Gia was finishing up collecting berries, they hear a twig break behind them and a nervous bark from the creature that broke the twig.

Gia turns around and before the other party can run away from fear, they pull out the treat from their bag, offering it to the figure as a bribe to come back with them.

Congratulations! Gia brings back 150 berries, 16 feathers, and a new Deori! ...it looks like that Deori is carrying something!

Xingeto Cædfel
Xingeto Cædfel is back from foraging!

Xingeto Cædfel was eager to go back out and explore, deciding to go to a different area than before. While foraging, he's a little disappointed that he didn't find much. He finds a couple of berry bushes, picking what he could from them, it looks like most of the berries had been eaten. Cædfel starts on his way back, gathering a few stray feathers, but it seems whoever left them is long gone.

Xingeto Cædfel managed to bring back 75 berries and 5 feathers!

Azahar Serein is back from foraging!

Azahar Serein was happy to be sent out, remembering that it wasn't long ago that she lived near this area of the forest. While foraging, she hurries along familiar routes, picking berries from locations that she remembers traveling before. She notices some feathers at the end of her path, along with a berry bush that looks nearly empty. Had she just missed someone? Serein tries not to think about it, turning and hurrying back towards where she came from, gathering more as she did.

Azahar Serein is back with a hefty load of 225 berries and 6 feathers!

I almost thought that Serein's rolls weren't going to stop, she kept getting so many re-rolls!
