As you walk up the trail, huffing and puffing you have quite forgotten why you started out this way to begin with. It's so hot, and you are so tired but you have a mission...what was it again?
Despite not remembering your purpose something drives you on and when you finally reach the top of the hill you find that there is nothing to see, except one lone hut looking out over the sea. Yikes, it is way higher than you thought. More of a mountain than a hill really...
"Well hello! You jump, startled at the cheerful greeting that seems to come out of thin air. Then she appears from behind the hut, her face veiled and her fur covered in runes, tattoos?
"Oh who am I and where am I from you ask?" Funny thing you don't remember asking, but she goes on and you try your best to keep up as she goes on (rather dramatically in your opinion).
"I am not earth, or sky, or water, I am suspended between them all. Iris, seer of the future, bringer of prophecies, oracle of the hut!" You try not to snicker, oracle of the hut? What kind of oracle is she anyway?
"But anyway, what can I do for you? Ah, you want a prophecy, you want to know what fate has in store for you eh?" With a flourish she pulls a glass bottle out from behind her. You see that it contains, feathers, perhaps scales?
Grinning widely she says, "Now, come close, and let's see what your future holds, if you're lucky perhaps I'll even give you a gift to help you along your journey." You aren't sure how confident you are in the legitimacy of this bubbly young 'oracle' but...what can it hurt? At least you can rest before starting the long trek back down the hill.
