Quilt just stares for a moment, "Well, I'm a rather large city, I suppose, and currently call a scientific advancement center my home." It feels like he blinked, but those glassy eyes prevent him from actually blinking, "It's a quiet little area with plenty of people to meet and learn from, and I enjoy the general atmosphere of the place. Other than the fact that its surrounded by desert and wastelands for quite a bit, it's welcoming enough."

for myself it's kind of a mixed bag. I grew up with a split family, and had one home that was Christian and one that was Jewish. This meant I celebrated Hanukah, played dreidel with my brother, lit the menorah, sang, etc., at one house, and then attended Christmas Eve service and such at the other. Both houses had trees, though, and we always went out to pick one with the family and bring them back home to decorate.
meanwhile Quilt just stares distantly, "Does... does one meek and lonely stocking hung without care over a TV count?"

Quilt stares, "Hobby?" He echoes, "I enjoy arts and crafts. I've actually made up several ornaments to decorate the plants that keep finding their way into the apartment, and most of them are pretty intricate. Outside of the holiday season, though, I usually take time to stitch together some stuffed animals, and fix up worn clothing, etc." The long plush lambie smiles, "I like to create things is what it comes down to, I think."

Prompt:
Quilt lets out an uneasy laugh, "Does unemployment count? I... don't really do much besides hanging around the center. I do occasionally help with science-y stuff, but it's not anything in my degree or what not. I don't need a job being an Idea which definitely helps with that."

Prompt:
Quilt is a frozen, shaking mess in the corner, "Do I have to do
something?.... I'm all for barricading the doors and finding nothing!" It takes him a moment to compose himself but when he does, he looks up to the upstairs with a bleak, unhappy expression, "F-Fine. I'll go upstairs, you barricade the basement."
When he gets up there, all he finds is some dusty old books knocked over from an open window. Well, at least that explains where the draft was coming from.

Prompt:
Quilt looks a little annoyed by this question as he rights the stack of books, "I don't have anyone special in my life. Don't need 'em, don't want 'em. At least not now." He finally finished setting the books back where they were before and looks at you slowly, "I've got books, crafts, and good company. that's enough for me."
