Canibell Types

Types and their differences

Types of Canibell change what powers and variants of effects their powers may hold; ranging from simple bleed damage to stat loss for the opponent, many types come with their own types of upsides and downsides; making your team able to bring out the greatness of these types will prove great for raids!

Morgrig
Known as one of the most agile types of Canibell; Morgrigs are fast with their movements! Although Morgrigs vary in their effectiveness; many either excel in healing their team mates or doing plentiful of stat and physical damage to the opponent! Morgrigs aren't too steady when it comes to defence however and as such should try to outspeed their oponent to gain the advantage!
+2 speed
+1 special attack
+1 healing/bonus attack
-1 defence

Brathwch
Brathwch's are one of the more steady Canibells, using weaponry like swords and blunt objects to take their opponents down. Brathwch's are commonly mediocre with their speed, specialising more in physical attack and higher defences! They tend to take their opponents down as effectively as possible, considering their low special defence and special attack; they commonly try getting in with defence lowering attacks and flinch moves!
+2 defence
+2 attack
-1 special defence
-1 special attack

Golygfa
Golygfa's are a very bulky species, specialsing in defence's and health; these Canibells soak up all the damage on the field and pack a mediocre punch! These Canibell's however trade in their bulk for speed, tending to be the last to make a move on the battlefield and as a result must try their best to land the hit!
+3 defence
+2 special defence
+1 HP
-3 speed

Types will change what weapons the Canibell may weild; the following being the starter weapons!

Morgrig's start off with the beginners staff,
An enchanted staff with home-made charms littering it; they vary n appearance however they are quite standard!

Brathwchs start off with the beginners sword;
A standard copper sword with wraps along its handle, lightly decorated with personal home-made items

Golygfa's start off with the beginners arm shield;
A single arm of armour reaching from the wrist to the shoulder with many home-made engravings along its face, a single sheild big enough to cover the lower arm and head is accompanying this armour

Explore Encounters

Postby Guest » Sun Dec 06, 2020 1:09 am

In explore there are a varying amount of encounters and situations your Canibell can get into!
These situations may grant you items, weapons, equipment, charms, and other stuff! Maybe even stat boosts!

However there's always one question needed to be answered; how is this all decided?
The simplicity of it is that a number is randomly selected which then selects an encounter! This encounter then has one or more type of items bound to it; alongside your Canibell's type which may change what items or encounters you get!

RNG
The RNG is mostly random for every single encounter; no encounter has a set percentage intended however some are rarer than others and are usually indicate by a red star on the encounter message!
This RNG is done via random.org which choose a number on complete random.

The amount of encounters you can get and items dropped via RNG are raised depending on your level!
Currently, level 5 grants you an explore roll that counts as 2 explore encounters.
Meaning that if you go exploring one day; you get 2 seperate encounters!
Note that you cannot get 2 battles at one time quite yet! (Multi battles have not been coded yet)

Battles
Battles may be encountered in explore as a rare encounter; these battles are done via PM due to their lengthy-ness and awards will be posted on the threads!
Awards will be given no matter if you win or lose however winning gives more items and has a chance to drop items exclusive to winning the battle! Items as such include leather, scales and bone used for crafting.

There are currently 3 enemies for explore;
hedgehogs, snakes and rats.

each enemy has set base stats with a 10% chance to have 1-2 boosted stats. A boosted enemy is called an "Elite" enemy and is guaranteed to drop at least one exclusive win item upon defeat. Alongside this, Elite enemies have a chance to drop stat boosting items which can be used on any of your Canibell!

Stats and specifics

Postby Guest » Sun Dec 06, 2020 5:11 am

So now that we know how explore encounters work, the different stat boosts and the battle system....
What dictates stats and how do they work?

The basics
A Canibell's stats start at a specific number depending on their type. These are called base stats! These stats are the same for every Canibell of that typing!
Once the base stats are found, the class type is then applied onto the base stats. Alongside this there is a singular stat boost which is chosen at complete random upon the creation of the Canibell; the stats of the Canibell will either be on the adoption post or listed when approved!
** note that a singular stat CANNOT be 0 and will instead be 0.5 if at the bare minimum!

Normal Canibell start with...
2 HP
2 ATK
2 DEF
2 SATK
2 SDEF
2 SPD

A Kitsune starts with...
2 HP
1 ATK
1 DEF
3 SATK
3 SDEF
3 SPD

A Dreamwalker starts with....
3 HP
1 ATK
3 DEF
2 SATK
3 SDEF
1 SPD

WonderLocke's start with....
2 HP
3 ATK
1 DEF
3 SATK
1 SDEF
3 SPD

Stat boosters
Stat boosters are commonly found in explore or gained from levelling up. Additionally you can find stat boosting items via events or explore too.
These stat boosts increase a singular stat by 1 or 2 points depending on the item/encounter. Stat boosters may only be used up to a limited amount of times overall to avoid people completely maxing out every stat!

a max of 60 overall stat points may be applied to a canibell (not including base stats/class stats), be sure to track how many stats your Canibell have and keep links to all stat boosts!
Want an automated way to keep track of your Canibell's stats? A F2U google sheets template is being made !

Items; What are they for?

Postby Guest » Tue Dec 08, 2020 5:51 am

Items
Items are collected through explore at the moment via foraging encounters or battle rewards!
A crafting system is being planned for the ability to make weapons, personal items (like MYO's or edit items) or to sell for currency to certain NPC's.

Where do I use my items?
Items can be crafted into other items in the archives, you can sell certain items every saturday at the [sun stand] !
Note; the Sun Stand chooses 3 items it will buy every saturday; so you may only sell that item if it is listed there!

Can I sell my items to other players?
Yes! This counts as a trade and should be logged in the archives; you can read about currency [here]

Currency

Postby Guest » Sun Dec 13, 2020 2:54 am

Image

Currency is used in Canibell to purchase items from NPCs, MYO's, and even adopts or exclusive items from events!
All currency is archived by archivists instead of people themselves. This is stored alongside the home archives!

How do I get currency?
Currency can be gained through entering for adopts, writing about your canibell and making art of canibell!
Submit your art/writing in the [discord]'s "coin claim" channel to get it approved! Do note that all art types get different amounts of coins depending on the type of art, quality of the art and what's depicted in the art!

Can I offer coins for stuff outside of the species?
At the moment coins may only be offered for art, canibell, canibell items or custom canibell designs!

Postby Guest » Sun Dec 13, 2020 3:08 am

Homes are used to store information about your canibell and your items but of course you need to know what to store and how! this section is a guide on what you need to include in your homes !

Canibell information
Your canibell at least will require the following!

- Their name + link to where you got them + the post they were made
- The canibell's stats with all boosts included in (+#)'s and links to the boosts
[example]

Items
All items should have links to where you got them from + how many you own!
