Genotype Format
A locus/B locus/C locus/D locus/E locus/H locus/I locus/K locus/M locus/S locus/T locus/U locus/L locus
Terminology
Eumelanin is black and brown pigment and includes black/blue/liver/lilac.
Pheomelanin is red and yellow pigment and includes dark red/red/tan/cream/silver/offwhite.
Locus is the location of a gene in a chromosome (genotype for our use) such as the A locus versus B locus.
Loci is the plural form of locus.
Allele is a variant form of a gene, such as sable versus agouti which are on the same locus.
