    Prompt:

After getting the little alien creature to shift into a... lion? The pride set out in search of these Uuk 'oks that the odd little being seemed to be talking about. Harlequin watched the alien thing like a hawk, it shifted into a purple lion. Really? Was it that dumb? She was horrified that Bigwig was even considering helping this lion, never mind actually making them go and do it!

Ossicone however got on great with the little being, but that of course came as no surprise. She even dubbed him 'Islwyn'. Imagine giving it a name... like it was some kind of pet. Harley rolled her eyes, pathetic. Then the creature led them to a cave. The group of lions around Harley himmed and haahed about whether or not to go in, in fact this lasted for a good 20 minutes before Harley threw her head up. "Just get out of the way!" She growled before heading into the darkness.

"Harley wait!" Ossicone called, but to no avail. Bigwig sighed, "Well, it looks like we're going in." He looked back to Fearne and Kodah, "You two stay outside, the rest of us will head in and see what's happening." Fearne and Kodah nodded. "Call us if you need backup." Kodah added. Bigwig nodded, "We will, thank you." And with that, he led the rest of the pride into the cave.

The darkness engulfed them immediately. "Harlequin!" Lander called out into the darkness. "Shh!" Islwyn scolded, "They hear. Uuk ' Oks. Quiet." Lander gulped at the little Alien's words, "O-oh, okay, sorry buddy."

Suddenly, the little alien gasped, making the three lions turn to look at him. "What's wrong Islwyn?" Ossi asked. "Uuk'oks! Bad, Bad!" He squeaked out, pointing forwards. They turned around to find that they had stumbled into a massive cavern, covered in what looks like blue roots, red at the centre it seems to be absorbing directly from the earth itself around it. Harlequin was standing, still as a statue, looking at the centre.

The lioness swung around now, her eyes filled with anger, "This is your doing isn't it?" she hissed in the direction of the alien creature. Ossicone stood protectively in front of him, "What are you talking about Harley? And why did you rung off like that?! You scared us!" "Look Ossicone!" Harley stood aside to show the centre root thing again, "This has to be what is causing the disruption on the surface! And that only started happening when he got here!" She pointed again to Islwyn, who didn't seem to even be looking in her direction. "It's not even acknowledging me! That's a sign of a guilty conscience!"

"I see you've found your way to my home." An eerie voice croons from above. It sounded choppy and distorted.

Every lion looked up and saw a lion like creature stalking it's way to the ground it's face creepily familiar... as it got closer they could see it's face resembled that of Bigwig's, which made the king gulp uncomfortably.
"Uuk'oks! Bad, Bad!" Islwyn cooed again, leaped forwards slightly to growl at the creature. "What... what are you?" Bigwig asked, in slight shock. The creature just gave him and eerie smirk. Islwyn lept forwards, seemingly thinking he was about to go further than he did, but of course ... he didn't. The creature before them glared at the purple shadowy heap on the ground, "I see. So this simpleton dragged you here." It growled.

"Hey! Leave him alone!" Ossicone declared. The Bigwig-resembling creature leapt forwards, towards the other alien creature. "No!" Ossi yelled as she leapt in front of him again. Lander's eyes widened as he could see this large creature was going to go full force into Ossi. He jumped at it from the side, as did Bigwig, taking it out before it managed to hit Ossi and Islwyn.

The alien creature laughed, a spine-chilling distorted laugh as long whip-like growths emerged from its body, which began to act like armour. "If it's a fight you want..." it grumbled, "Then it's a fight you'll get!"

Harlequin smirked, "This is more like it... I think you'll find us earthlings are far tougher than you would expect." Lander stood tall by her side, clearly agreeing with her. He was shortly followed by Ossicone and the other little alien, Islwyn. Bigwig came and stood in front of them, "You will not destroy our home." The creature before them chuckled evilly again, "You'll just have to stop me first.."

Bigwig gritted his teeth and growled, something he scarcely did, "Then so we shall."

Prompt:
Striga padded down the tunnel, the Umbra sticking close to her side. She wasn’t sure she really trusted him, but she didn’t want to put anyone else in danger. After she’d talked with him and gotten him to change out of her body, she’d tricked the other guard into going just long enough for them to sneak out, so it was only them who’d found the secret cave, and only them who entered.
The deeper down they went, the more she regretted not bringing anyone else. All the others hated and distrusted the Umbra, none of them would have let her go with it. For all that her father trusted her to make her own decisions, the recent events had scared him into being overprotective.
The tunnel grew darker and darker, the light from the entrance fading out of sight. Striga and the Umbra walked closer together, the lack of sight and the narrowing of the tunnel driving them to nearly touch as they walked. The silence was deafening but Striga daren’t talk, instead honing in on the soft padding of their feet against the floor so she didn’t go crazy.
Slowly, the tunnel began to brighten, imperceptible at first and gradually began more noticeable. Striga recognized it as similar to the glowing stone she’d seen that had started this whole mess. As it lit the tunnel, Striga realized the light was pulsing like the stone as well. As the light grew stronger, without getting too much brighter, they found themselves walking out into a cavern.
The light seemed to originate from pulsing blue roots with red centers, looking like they were draining something from the ground. It dawns on Striga that maybe these are the cause of the disturbances. A voice cutting through the silence shakes her from her admiration.
She looked up, seeing glowing red eyes piercing the darkness, resting heavily on her and her companion.
“I see you've found your way to my home.” The voice crooned in a disturbing way that made Striga’s skin crawl.
A lion or lion-like creature lay on a platform above them, sprawled comfortably across it. She can tell it’s not quite a lion, perhaps a mimic like the Umbra. It wore a face familiar to her, similar to her dad’s but not quite right, like a relative she’d never met.
“Uuk’oks! Bad, Bad!” The Umbra screeched. It prepared to leap at the facsimile lion, wiggling it’s rear and pushing off the ground with a powerful shove. However, even with a lion’s strong legs, it could not jump as far or as high as it intended, falling short. Perhaps it was used to a gravity weaker than theirs.
The facsimile, Uuk’oks according to the Umbra, narrowed it’s eyes. “I see. So this simpleton dragged you here.” It eyes the Umbra and silently leapt down from it’s perch at him, intent on eliminating the possible threat. Perhaps, or rather, most likely, Uuk’oks knew more about the Umbra than Striga did, knowing something that made it dangerous.
As Uuk’oks falls, long whip-like growths appeared from under it’s fur as weapons and ridges grew on it’s body like armor as a natural defense.
Striga was stunned in place, unable to move to save her new… ally. Time went in slow motion as she watched, unable to stop it, unable to turn away.
The same is not true for the lion who had followed them to and into the cave, hanging back as not to be noticed.
Ignis leapt from the cavern’s entrance, slamming full force into the fallen Umbra, pushing it across the floor and out of Uuk’oks path. He turned and faced Uuk’oks, snarling with claws out and ready for a fight.
Unfortunately, Uuk’oks landed safely on the ground, with all the practice and elegance of a natural cat. Ignis was taken momentarily off guard when he recognized the face but it only made him angrier.
How dare you!” He seethed at the facsimile. Uuk’oks did not reply, it’s face blank of emotion.
How dare you take the face of my father!” He screamed, pouncing at Uuk’oks, who nimbly stepped aside. Ignis tumbled breifly before he found his footing and began circling the Uuk’oks, who ignoring him again.
It walked towards the Umbra, as if forgetting the other two were in the room.
The emergence of her father had dragged Striga out of her shock as she ran to check that the Umbra was well. “Phönix. Phönix!” She whispered to him, shaking the Umbra that appeared to have been knocked unconscious, whether by his fall or her father’s push she didn’t know. She used the name he had told her on their way to the cave and shook him harder, pleading he get up and flee. He didn’t wake up.
As the Uuk’oks approached, whips swinging threateningly, Striga stood in front of the Umbra, refusing to let him be killed.
“To get him, you’ll have to go through me!” She growled at the approaching threat, taking a defensive stance, only to be smacked out of the way by a clump of the whips held together like a club.
“STRIGA!” Her father screamed, leaping at the Uuk’oks once again, knocking it over and a little further away from the Umbra. The two grappled with eachother, Uuk’oks finally forced to take it’s focus off of it’s target and deal with the two irritating pests.
Ignis was on top of Uuk’oks, pining it down and slashing at it when his paws were free. He kept up an angry monologue against the silent beast.
“How dare you hit my daughter! How dare you try to kill a sentient creature! How dare you take the face of my father! I couldn’t, wouldn’t kill him, but I have no qualms killing you!”
Uuk’oks laughed, a malicious smile growing on his face.
The smile was disturbingly familiar to Ignis on his father’s face.
King Basileus’s voice echoed out of Uuk’oks mouth, “My son, you’ve finally returned to kill me.” It laughed at the shock and horror on Ignis’ face.
Striga watched the interaction with horror and confusion.
Ignis screwed his eyes shut, raising his paw the land a fatal blow.
“Do it.” Whispered the Uuk’oks, whispered King Basileus.

As the two lions walked further and further into the darkness, Akkadia grew more and more perturbed. Were they ever going to find the other end? The darkness seemed to make time stretch on, minutes passing like hours. Even with her eyes as wide as they could go, she could see nothing of where they walked. It had been a long time since she came to a place such as this, and felt this afraid. Cinnabar ahead of her, with his gleaming red eyes and glowing cheek that held the guiding stone he made, stepped lightly and surely, as though he knew where to put each foot in the darkness. Akkadia was forced to follow behind him, his footsteps and the gleam of his cheek the only guide she had in the seeming void.
After a time, light began to show, slowly, in the distance, as though from around a bend. Akkadia had lost all sense of direction, she could not tell if they had been walking a straight path or a winding one, and so she was not sure what to make of the sudden turn. As they made their way closer, closer, the light became brighter and brighter until she could see again. Akkadia's widely dilated pupils burned at the light, and forced her to stop and turn. Cinnabar looked at her, confused, and urged her in that chilish way of his to carry on. When she had gathered herself, Akkadia followed him once again, each step carrying them closer to the light.
Now almost upon the turn in the path, Akkadia could see the light was rather blue, quite reminiscent of the rock which had fallen from the sky. She was still trying to connect the dots when they turned the corner and came face to face with a blindingly bright room. The blue glow was everywhere, emanating from huge blue roots big enough to feed a mountain, each root thicker than any tree trunk she had ever seen. The rock around the roots looked off, bare, she would almost say... drained. Where the roots met they glowed red, and pulsed, but arythmatically, more like a suckling newborn desperate for his mother's milk than the pounding beat of a heart. It was something... hungry.
Akkadia shook the thought away. It might be an inexplicable glowing mass with roots but she was not going to lull herself into the belief it was something sentient. No matter how it seemed. There had to be a logical explanation for this. There had to be. Even if there was... magic... there were no sentient forces ruling it.
Distracted by her thoughts, she did not notice Cinnabar's look of terror until a voice spoke.
"I see you've found your way into my home." The voice said, menace dripping from every syllable.
Ice freezing in Akkadia's veins at the pure evil sound of the voice, she turned, following Cinnabar's panicked stare up to the pulsing center of the roots. There, stood a creature with gleaming red eyes so like Cinnabar's, but something in them made her look away lest she be drawn in and consumed. It's body was like a lion, like Cinnabar's, but every movement it made rippled through it in a way so nauseating it made her sick to watch. trying to look past the eyes, she trained her own on the creatures face. Horror spread throughout her as she recognized the fur and patterns of her dear, lethargic niece. She recoiled, her brain demanding she do something, but that was her niece but it wasn't and what had happened to Lisanna?!
As she froze, Cinnabar took action.
"Uuk'oks! Bad, bad!" He cried, lowering his small body to the ground and calculating for a great leap at his great enemy- and falling far, far short. He landed on his face and stood up, stumbling in disorientation and confusion. What had gone wrong, he thought, His non-understanding writing itself clearly across his pitch black face.
The malevolent creatures wearing Lisanna's face grinned and spoke again. "I see. So this simpleton dragged you here."
Akkadia was brought back to reality by the words. Looking back up at the monster, she watched, almost in slow motion, as he stepped back and leapt forward at Cinnabar, who's own unfamiliarity with this world had made him an easy vulnerable target.
To anyone else, Akkadia would say she did it because Cinnabar had brought her here and had at at least done so with the intention of saving her world, for which she owed him a debt. Or perhaps she might say she realized that it this Uuk'oks thought Cinnabar enough of a threat to try to eliminate him, there must be something important about him. Either way, it would all be a lie. In the moment, there was no time to think of such logical things as life debts and reasoning. There was no time for her to even really process into words what she was thinking.
Akkadia just knew she could not let Cinnabar die. She couldn't lose that silly little bright white grin of his, that funny bouncing run, that puzzling calm he had. That spark in his bright red eyes had become somehow dear to her in their journey.
So she would never admit that it was something entirely emotional, unthinking, and reckless that drove her towards Cinnabar as the world turned in slow motion. In fact she would not hardly even admit it to herself, even as she threw herself in front of the monster's outstretched claws, shoving Cinnabar behind her. She would not admit that in that moment, inexplicably his life had been more important to her than her own. Mid-leap she had transformed, her furry hide transforming into sleek, hard scales as she took on her powerful Wyrm form, one of the powerful battle-worthy wyverns.
The one wearing Lisanna's face hissed as his claws scratched over her scales. It narrowed it's awful menacing eyes, voice morphing to something more... serpentine and in-feline as it's body rippled out of the borrowed form of Akkadia's niece. "So the mouse wishes to play!"
It's body took on great ridges like armored scales, long smoky whip-like tendrils sprouting from it and lashing forward. Unlike the failure of its claws, these tendrils burned and sliced through her thick scales, causing her to cry out at the stinging pain. She turned, fighting the pain, so she could face it head on. She knew trying to claw it would be fruitless with the tendrils, all that would manage would be injuring her claws and affecting her stability, perhaps even damaging the webbing of her wings which being a wyvern shaped Wyrmling integrated into her forelegs. Instead she tried to aim her snout and barrage it with her liquid fire. For a brief moment, she felt a spark of victory as the monster winced against the flame, smoke rising from its deep black form. Then its tendrils wrapped themselves around her snout and tightened.
Her muffled scream rang through her head, and the pain nearly forced her to blame out. Beyond the understanding of her tunneled consciousness, Cinnabar had recovered himself at the sounds of her pain. Something about him changed, and the child-like aura he had given off since the day of his capture disappeared. His bright red eyes darkened. The red and white body of his turned black, and he leapt forward at the aggressor, refusing to let the Uuk'oks cause more pain to this lioness that had risked herself for him.

Making their way down into the cave, it grows darker and darker around your lions, but eventually, it begins to grow bright. Theres a soft, pulsing blue light at the end of the tunnel. Following it further, it opens up into a massive cavern, covered in what looks like blue roots, red at the center it seems to be absorbing directly from the earth itself around it. Surely this is what is causing the disruption on the surface. Above them, red eyes leer menacingly. "I see you've found your way to my home" the voice croons uncomfortably. A lion...or rather... lion-like creature rests above them on a platform, something of alien origin. And the face- is familiar. (You can choose which lion has been overtaken for this role, whether its one of your own- making up an npc from a neighboring pride, a long lost relative, ect)

"Uuk'oks! Bad, Bad!" the visitor with your pride declares. Rearing up a big 'leap' it wiggles its rear in the air before taking a pounce. Apparently...gravity in this world is different because it doesn't go anywhere near as far as it expected to. The other being, Uuk'oks, as the alien had declared, narrows its eyes "I see. So this simpleton dragged you here." it eyes the other outerworldly lion, and without another word, leaps from its perch to lunge at them, determined to remove them before they can be a threat. Perhaps, this visitor knows something your lions don't about their intruder....making them dangerous.

It seems like Uuk'oks is up for a fight, long whip-like growths emerging from its fur to act as weapons as it attacks, and ridges of armor sprouting along its body to protect itself

Do your lions save their alien guest? How so? How do they fare in the fight against this alien threat?

SPACEThe five felines cautiously made their way into the tunnel. The cool air from the cavern washed over them, a chill ran up their spines. It was already difficult to see in the darkness and it only grew darker as they continued making their way down. Then it started to lighten up. It was as they say: it's always darkest before it gets light. A soft blue light started to illuminate the tunnel. Nuru slowed her steps, the others doing the same and looking her way. Her fur stood on edge. She could feel it now. This Uuk'oks was definitely here and they were about to meet them. She looked to Sadaltager and gave a nod before leading them back on. The light grew brighter and the tunnel suddenly opened up to a cavern. Along the walls were roots except they were...blue. Also red. It was strange. It was almost as if the roots were draining life from the earth. That could explain why the outside was so barren. Something here is having a negative impact on the land. "Be on guard," she whispered softly to the others.

SPACE"I see you've found your way to my home."

SPACEShe looked up at a set of red eyes that were eerily similar to that of their new space companion. It was lounging above them on some sort of platform. The angle left them in shadow but it appeared to be a lion. Nuru felt the same strange aura around them as she had with their new companion. Something was just a little off about it. If she hadn't felt unsure before, she definitely felt it when they leaned forward and into the light. The lion before them was...familiar. Pale fur with a white mane. Antlers sprouted from his head. Dark stripes upon his cheeks and legs. Nuru had only seen this lion once but 'iilah alkhalq would be recognizable anywhere.

SPACE"Uuk'oks! Bad, Bad!" The alien shouted accusingly at the false god before them. It crouched and geared to pounce but fell short. "'iilah alkhalq" grinned, its teeth sharp and menacing. It shook its head in pity then narrowed its eyes.

SPACE"I see. So this simpleton dragged you here." For a moment, it glared at their light blue companion. Nuru tensed at the tone as did the guards. Procyon and Sirius moved up closer growling softly at the tension. The false 'iilah alkhalq leaped off its perch toward them, poised to fight. Sadaltager stepped in first, teeth bared. Clearly the largest of the party, the guard captain was definitely intimidating. Nuru wasn't much of a fighter but it seemed her magical insight had not abandoned her as a mystical sense overcame her to avoid strikes. The couple Sirius and Procyon worked in tandem effectively keeping between the light blue alien and the one wearing the face of the Creation God. Nuru stepped back leaving more room for Sadaltager to maneuver.

SPACE"Careful! Watch." Curious to the warning, Nuru focused on Uuk'oks. With a wicked smile odd vine-like growths came out of its sides, whipping about at Sadaltager. There was an occasional snap when it connected with the large lions form followed by whines. She stepped forward no longer able to hold back.

SPACE"Oh, Lishan. What chance do you or your new friends have against me? Me!" Uuk'oks or the imposter Creation God sneered at the group before him. The new whip appendages struck out at Sadaltager and Nuru. The seer, getting insight on the strike moved aside narrowly missing the attack. Sadaltager sacrificed getting hit to attempt a hold on it. But with three other vines to handle it didn't make much difference for one to be incapacitated. With a growl Uuk'oks appearance shifted. Instead of the sleek coat of 'iilah alkhalq, there was now plates of armor jutting out to cover vulnerable parts of its body.

SPACE"Oh, I think you'll find we're much stronger than you believe us to be." Procyon practically spit the words out. "Tired of these games. How weak you must truly be to conjure weapons."

SPACE"Now, now, my dear. Perhaps it's only a display of intimidation." Sirius cast a smirk at his mate. "An abysmal display but one nonetheless."

SPACETheir foreign companion, who Nuru assumed was called Lishan as that was what Uuk'oks called it, stared in absolute horror at the mated guards. The seer held back a chuckle though the grin couldn't be helped. Uuk'oks' attacks faltered as he stared blankly between Procyon and Sirius. His expression was equally amusing showing one of shock. "Excuse me? You... You dare? You dare question me?"

SPACEGreat. As if he wasn't already provoked. While she was amused with the conversation and the reactions of the aliens, this wasn't the time for games. "If it's quite alright with the rest of you, I think we should just bring him down. And- no, before you interject with a witty remark- I don't mean knock him down metaphorically or figuratively. I mean literally bring him down."

SPACESadaltager grunted in approval then moved back in while Uuk'oks was still stunned by the comments from Procyon and Sirius. With a roar, the large guard captain lunged and toppled with Uuk'oks. Lishan was still somewhat paralyzed by what happened but was quickly brought back by Nuru nudging him gently in the side. She gave him a questioning glance that asked if he was still ready to be a part of this. He nodded his head once and moved with her to assist Sadaltager in keeping Uuk'oks busy. The five of them came in at different angles and used different tactics. Sadaltager being a large brute used strength to overpower. Procyon and Sirius worked as a cohesive unit, working of each other and alternating attacks. Nuru kept back mostly and responded with precision. Lishan, though hesitant at times in stepping in and being aggressive, was similar to the seer in looking for weaknesses to exploit.

SPACEEventually two of the whip growths were holding Procyon and Sirius hostage while the other two kept Sadaltager busy. Nuru and Lishan stood side by side panting heavily as they faced Uuk'oks. She took notice that he too was wearing down. "This won't end well for you. Any of you. How do you know you're even fighting for the right side here?"

Eventually, they decide to go down together. After all, there is strength in numbers. It is dark within the cave, far darker than they can bear. All except Jelsa who seems to be able to see through it still. They rest tails and sides against one another, hoping to sneak up on whatever may be inside, using the darkness towards their advantage.

It feels like years, wandering in the darkness, wondering how deep it goes, yet at the same time it doesn’t quite feel long enough before they have to face the unknown. They gaze around, still silent as they observe the cavern. It’s like tentacles or wires, leaching from the earth itself. Like a parasite.

“I see you’ve found your way to my home.” A voice says, ringing and echoing in the cavern. There’s something uncomfortably familiar about that voice, slightly soothing yet terrifying in the context. With the echoes, it takes a moment for them to identify where it is coming from.

There, up above them, surveying them like a lofty king is a being. But horribly, the being wears a face familiar in some way to each of the gathered lions. Agan. The kind lion who cared and helps look after all the cubs in the pride, as well as acting as a mentor and counselor.

Errjot has no such familiarity though, instantly calling Agan out as an imposter. A villain. And as the creature wearing Agan’s appearance leaps, tackling Errjot, each lion present hesitates.

No matter how much they know that this isn’t the real Agan, or at least it likely isnt it feels so wrong to attack the kindly vision. Surprisingly it is Edana who breaks from her thoughts first.

“How dare you steal Agan’s face!” She snarls, darting into the fray with claws and fangs ready. They scrape off Uu’oks with an awful screech, armor protecting them from the danger. Keitaro dashes in next, Bahira soon follow while Jelsa throws rocks and Errjot- Errjot is smiling, yet it is unsure what at. That he has others willing to defend him? Or something darker?

The others have little time to consider it though, as with a dark laugh not-Agan sprouts long growths that snap in the air, stinging as they hit the attacking lions.

The five retreat for a moment, circling Uu’oks not letting them escape. Yet, they don’t look scared, outnumbered as they are.

“Why did you eat Errjot’s world?” Bahira snarls. Uu’oks tilts their head.

“Errjot?” Lakviar points at the smaller alien. Errjot flashes his fangs, yet whimpers a little the moment Uuk’oks does it back.

“Simpleton.” He snorts derisively. “I did what I had to.”

Errjot whistles in what must be anger, shadows coiling fast. He dives in, and the others have little choice but to save him. Uuk’oks spins, cutting a couple of lions around him, before he hits Bahira hard enough for her to knock into a wall and lay still, wind knocked out of her. Jelsa runs to check on her and Uuk’oks turns on Keitaro next. Its even less of a fight as Keitaro panics a little, turning into a vulnerable position. Edana claws at the alien, but only gets his attention enough to let Lakviar drag Keitaro out of range.

Its just her and Errjot against them now. (551/500)

It seemed their little friend came after all, for Chayton had noticed that the little pocket-sized lion had ultimately followed him down into the tunnel. He was a bit surprised to see the little thing follow after him, ultimately glancing toward it once it had hopped onto his back. It was small enough to ride on his back, technically, although it just felt a bit... odd, to him. This creature was such a small lion. It was smaller than a cub, really. It was more like the size of a bird, than anything. It made him wonder just where it had come from and how it had possibly survived as small as it was.

Nevertheless, he was rather glad that he had a friend to go with him, down into the depths of this tunnel. While he was content to go it alone, being a natural loner and all, it was nice to have a little company that probably knew about whatever was down here than anything else. The cubs didn't know, and even if they did, he didn't want them anywhere near this place. It was much too dangerous, if these Uuk'oks were down here. Little did he know, though, that that was actually the case.

Eventually he got down to the end of the tunnel, only to find a large cavern, something he knew had not been there before, for he would have known. The smell down here was musty and smelled faintly of wet dirt and burning sulfur, and it was dark, save for the blue and red roots that came from, seemingly, nowhere. Chayton could only frown at that, soon sighing a moment before looking for whatever had created this place... only to catch the sight of glowing red eyes looking down upon the two of them with malice.

"I see you've found your way to my home," The sultry voice crooned, a small grin upon what little Chayton could see of this creature's features.

Those words, however, caused him to frown.

"This is not your home," he'd retort. "You were not here earlier, and you will not be staying."

The creature seemed to croon a bit more before settling on a platform, now allowing Chayton to see this thing. It looked like-like in nature but it obviously had some stark differences from his species, and he could only wonder if this was another creature or... or that Uuk'oks thing. Although it was a bit of a surprise, for Chayton, along with the other cubs, had assumed that the Uuk'oks was multiple things, when, apparently, it was just one.

Such a thought was only clarified by the little friend on his back, who clearly recalled seeing this creature and made it well known.

"Uukoks! Bad, bad!" It exclaimed in an angry little squeak.

Chayton's gaze only narrowed at that, only to frown once he felt the little creature jump off of his back... only to land on the ground below. He watched with a confused frown as the little creature seemed to look about, almost perplexed that it had only gone as far as it did.

The creature, the Uuk'oks, or whatever it was, just sneered in response to the small creature's stupidity, but it's gaze narrowed shortly after, as if it didn't like what it was currently seeing. "I see... This simpleton dragged you here."

The creature sounded... unhappy. More like disgusted, actually, to see that such a small, little creature had managed to grab the attention of a lion and bring it down here, all the way into it's lair, just when it was trying to take over the world it had landed upon.

Chayton could see that the thing was not happy, and it only made it more apparent after the Uuk'oks jumped down from it's high and mighty pedestal and growled at the two. Chayton couldn't help but take a step back at that, soon glancing toward his little companion, who now puffed out it's chest but, ultimately, hid between his paws. While he could see that their little guest was more than ready to fight, Chayton could see why it's home was so easily overtaken, for this Uuk'oks was probably around his size... and, well... their little guest was pretty small in comparison to him. But, nevertheless, with this information, it appeared the little creature was ready to fight anyway, to avenge its family, its friends, and its home.

Of course, it'd need some help, though. And, while Chayton was there to do just that, the male couldn't help but wonder if they would need more help somehow. This creature apparently was quite strong, thanks to the odd armor that it had managed to conjure upon itself and the whip-like growths that had come out of it's fur. It was enough to make Chayton begin to question if his claws would be enough. He swallowed a little, seeing his opponent, but nevertheless, he had to be brave.

He had to make an example of this... for the cubs. He had told them he'd be back and he meant it. He wasn't going to just leave them there. Likewise, he wasn't going to leave his pride to finish the work that this creature had started, and he wasn't going to let this creature try and take over their pride lands or even the world. Whatever this thing was, it had to be taken down, and it had to be taken down now.

Chayton growled as he readied himself, digging his claws into the dirt and dust below as his bloody red eyes glared upon the creature, who looked a lot like his tominatoak, Alosaka, who stood before him. He had to stand strong. No backing down now.

He looked down to see their little guest do the same thing, almost mimicking him in his stance and standing before the creature with a glare in it's own four eyes.

It was time to act. Time to take this thing down to the depths where it belonged.

Making their way down into the cave, it grows darker and darker around the small party lions, but eventually, it begins to grow bright.

Perhaps, this visitor knows something the duo didn’t about their intruder....making them dangerous.

It seems like Uuk'oks is up for a fight, long whip-like growths emerging from its fur to act as weapons as it attacks, and ridges of armor sprouting along its body to protect itself. Skarde didn’t mean to refer herself as Uuk’oks but she simply was too excited to protect herself and her two mentors from the grey and black spotted lion with glowing yellow eyes. Now Ubbe and Ivar didn’t know this guardian or what they their called gods as it wasn’t in their region but the two watched with sensitive eyes as it paced around Skarde.

Skarde swiftly lept into challenged battle with Chuki Safi, Ubbe quickly launched into picking up as many stones he could as possible to throw at the demon king or Polaris Guardian, whatever the hell he called himself. But it seemed not to phase him even when Ubbe chomped onto his bone armored tail, which made Ubbe recoil in agony. His gums was now bleeding as he softly pressed his tongue over his chipped back tooth. That was one of the dumbest things he had done for what could be love, but it wouldn’t be true love if you didn’t chip a tooth for each other.

As Ivar tried slinking away to abandon the two lovebirds grappling with the guardian he was stopped by Ubbe slamming his claws into his hindquarters and snarling into his ears “to not abandon a fight like the snake he was.” Now the brown lion was taken off guard but he quickly slunk back into battle trying to dodge fireballs being bounced around the cave walls like a cub batting about tiny tumble weeds in the sun. Ubbe was blindsided by a massive tentacle reaching for a stalagmite but he found the fearsome creature in front of his eyes a beautiful work of alien life form. He was definitely lovesick now and it was Ivar’s turn to knock some sense into Ubbe so Skarde wasn’t doing all the work of protecting them. But it was all too late one massive explosion sent Ubbe and Ivar out of the cave back to the forested banks. And the cave had fallen in with the two fighting lion based beasts of the realm. Chuki Safi had swiftly opened up his bridge to hell and disappeared back to his fiery hell.

But as singed ashes swept up into the air like a whirl wind, Ubbe was struggling to roll to his feet as he choked for the harsh air tormenting his lungs. Yet the day was saved as the expedition members for the evil duo who decided to run off and face the alien like creatures alone. Ivar had been up and lapping crazily at the water banks to quench his unimaginable thirst. Ubbe just laid their with wide eyes as the king scooped water up into a moss ball for the red and crimson candy cane stained lion to thirstily lap at before realizing his biggest fears had came true. He had abandoned her. The lioness with a broken tongue who had a pure heart. Ubbe rolled over and grunted in agony as he shook out his singed mane, “Where. Where. Is she?” He heaved out while three different lions told him it was better for him to save his breath, that’s when he saw the downed cave.

“Shut up!!! She is in there and she is dying!” He snarled as he launched himself up with the assistance of claws and started flying towards what he remembered was the entrance of five minutes ago that seemed to be a eternity. Ubbe started clawing and ripping up rocks to find the lioness he cared about. He gritted his teeth as his lungs and muscles burned while he continued searching for Skarde. By this rate there had to be hardly any oxygen left for her, did she even need oxygen? He had no clue but as he pressed his ear close to the hole he had formed, he heard soft pained breathing and a tiny tuft of purple fur. Ubbe quickly unhedged the lioness who had transformed back into her normal colorful form.

But as he pulled her into the cool grass he stuck his cold wet nose into her neck to find some sort of life he had heard earlier. She couldn’t be gone... She just couldn’t! Ubbe’s heart said stingingly. They didn’t even get a chance to fight, she didn’t even get a chance to fight. The lion rumbled softly as he collapsed next to Skarde. His body ached but he managed to curl up around her protectively as he silently wept. Ubbe was distressed on what he could do but maybe it was too late for them...
