The day was slightly warm. The wind moved the leaves of the large oak trees surrounding the garden. Bushes swayed like a seas waves, dancing and singing in the wind as the winters frost had began biting its fibres.
The wind chill was threatening as Quentin had carefully whisped down from where he was, his wings fluttering cautiously as he came to a hault. For now he had to find a home, a base to stay at and one far away enough from where the team committed their... crimes? no, just borrowing.
The tan Finch had noted the suddenly shortened shrubbery around this specific area, clear dirt paths from a long time of being traversed lay before him. The ferns and ivy from the sidelines fading out as he approached a home. A lone house with a large car beside it. The houses walls were wooden, likely made from the same oak that acted as a blanket to the area.
The house was lifted up from the ground, the underside of it containing many cobwebs, leaves and other resources.... Perfect! A stereotypical start for a home but one none the less.
Quentin observes the area once more, his moss eye glancing around quickly to deduct any major concerns before deciding on the spot.

The tan Finch had quickly accumilated many items. small branches, a few leaves and cobwebs were the main items however moss worked well to keep the basic wall propped up. The building was simple for now, enough for the night before he informed his group of their new base.
He slowly snuggled into the area, looking around as the makeshift shelter provided great cover for the night. He was lucky he actually chose moss and cobwebs for the main holders as rainfall had began as he settled for the night. Luckily the moss and cobwebs helped keep him warm at the same time, the accumilation of tattered leaves laying across the shelter also helping in keeping the warmth.
His eye fluttered shut slowly, the rain peaceful as he settled slowly....

The morning wasnt too cold, frost clearly on the grass outside however the shelter worked well. Quentin stretched his wings carefully and shuddered lightly, inspecting any damage to the area over the rainfall... not much!
He exited the shelter and yawned, getting used to the snapping cold before adjusting. Now the group could get to planning.

They needed a basic area of course, at least had to dig a bit to make enough room for all of them. They'd probably need better supplies for the building too; likely sporks for some of the walls and maybe plastic covers for the roof... oh! Maybe they could use some human-pup items for other things like cutlery or storage in the mean time! Maybe even some stronger items as wall support.... The moss did work very well.
However, for now, Quentin would need to retreive the team

Name | Quentin
gender | Male (he/him)

Appearance | Quentin is a beige Finch with a darker oak eyeline and under-crown on his head. Alongside this he has a shoulder shrowd and leg covers. Quentins wings have much less saturation on the exterior in comparison with the interior. Small stripes can be found along the shoulder shroud and back [closer to the shoulder blades/spine]

Personality | The tan Finch is a usually gruff but well-tempered individual. He tends to be more of a leader type, keeping critical thinking and mindfulness on his roster of skills. However with this he does tend to jump to incorrect conclusions and as such may endanger himself or friends accidentally. Quentin can be apologetic at times when he acknowledges his screw ups; sometimes going as far as gifts or physical gestures (such as hugs)

Additionals | After a (very jumpy) run in with another Housefolk; Quentin ended up losing his eye. Guess that's whatcha' get for bein' a thief and trying to jump someone in a damn mini cave of all places
