"Here we are; Luminous Spring."
Flare and Coro looked around in awe. Light, dappled by the occasional tree, was scattered all around, making the water shine. A huge waterfall towered over them, lightly splashing anyone who got too close.
"Thanks. Now, let's go find Hitmonlee!" the Drakloak zoomed off. His Dreepy quickly followed.
"I g..gu..guess we should start loo..looking too." suggested Coro. Flare nodded.
They searched for quite a long time, but to no avail. The Hitmonlee was still nowhere to be found.
Coro looked closely at the waterfall. It seemed to be darker in one spot.
"Hey Flare, do y..you see that?"
"What?"
"There's a da..darker sp..spot in the w..waterfall."
Flare looked. Sure enough, it was there.
"Looks like that might be a cave or something behind that waterfall. But how would we get in there? I'm a fire type, and I don't know if you can swim..."
Drakloak was listening to them. He looked at them and nodded. He flew up and zoomed through the waterfall. His Dreepy soon followed.
"Welcome Drakloak." Hitmonlee was heard saying.
"Why did you run off? We were training."
Hitmonlee proceeded to explain that she did not only teach fighting. She taught that meditation was half of what she did, how they were the same. This went on for quite a while, and Flare and Coro were listening the entire time.
Finally, the Dreepy popped out.
"You should probably go now. This is going to take a while."
So, Flare and Coro left, the waterfall still dropping behind them.

"Of all the jobs, I get one with a criminal."
Orville grumbled as he flew.
"It's part of the job, Uncle Orville. You just need to accept that." Aria flew right beside him. She knew her uncle always was like this, but she always assumed it would get better as time went on. "So, we need a plan to catch this Jangmo-o. Any ideas?"
"I've got a lot, actually. The notice said he's always running away. I'm not fast enough to catch him, and neither are you. But, his main goal is to get out of there as quickly as possible, not to get out of there as carefully as possible. We could set up some sort of trap. I was thinking a simple tripwire and net."
"That's... actually a really good idea. That just might work. Now, we need to find out where to set it..."
They went around, and soon learned that this Jangmo-o usually took the same path back to his base. It was obvious they needed to set up their trap on that path. A few moments later, the trap was all set up. The only thing to do was wait. And, so, they waited.
It took quite a while before the Jangmo-o came. He carried a bag in his mouth, and was being chased by an angry Luxray. Soon, the tripwire was activated, and the net fell right on top of the Jangmo-o.
"We got him!" exclaimed Aria.
"And he has my berries." the Luxray said, taking the bag away from the Jangmo-o.
"I suppose it was only a matter of time before I got caught." the Jangmo-o said. "Go ahead. Take me in."
"Well, what do you know. My plan worked." Orville said with pride.
Aria smiled at her uncle. Maybe he was getting better after all.

Orville finished putting up the jobs on the notice board. "Hey everyone! This week's job are here!"
From what seemed like every nook and cranny of their base, the members of the Symphony gathered around the notice board. Aria flew up and started reading them.
"Looks like we have a... Deino who wants to go to the... desert. I'll do that one. Next, there's a... Drakloak looking for a... Hitmonlee in... the springs near Beehive. Any takers?"
Flare raised his hoof and Coro raised the end of his tail.
"Alright, Coro and Flare. That one's yours." Aria gave the notice to them. "Let's see here, there's a... thief in the forests surrounding Beehive. I think Flare and Coro should take that one, too, since they'll be in the area. Unless anyone else wants to."
Silence filled the corridor.
"Alright. You two get that one as well." She gave the notice to Coro, who unrolled it, as he and Flare scanned it.
"A Drapion!?" Flare exclaimed. As he looked up, the first thing you'd notice was the fear in his eyes. He looked at Coro. "What if it's... him?"
"Well, h..he does seem like that t..type..." Coro responded.
"Hey... what's going on?" Coda calmly said.
"Drapion was a member of my old guild, the Poison Darts. He was second in command to Skuntank, our guildmaster. He was also the enforcer. Insanely powerful. If I wasn't an Ekans, and thus not as flexible, I would have been dead many times over." Coro explained, stuttering in his usual fashion. He looked at Flare. "When I first started adventuring with Flare here, they started enforcing their "Poison types only" policy. They would kick members out if they were seen with any non-Poison types who were not clients. I, of course, didn't listen. I knew that he knew that I was adventuring with Flare, but he never had any evidence to prove it until I tried to talk some sense into our guildmaster and have him allow Flare to join our guild. After the guildmaster convinced us he cared, he had us find some treasure at the top of a mountain. At the top, he told us that..." At this point, Flare was lying on the floor, crying, and Coro had tears in his eyes. "he told us that the Poison Darts were only strong because they were Poison types. He also said some very hurtful things to Flare before he took our treasure and left. He also told me to stay away from Flare... or else. When I got back to our base, Drapion attacked me and reinforced that order." Coro paused. "I began fearing for Flare's life that day, along with my own. About two months later, I was in town with Flare, about to leave for a mission, when I saw Drapion barreling towards me. It must have been a good day, because, instead of ending me right then and there, he grabbed me and took me straight to the Guildmaster." He paused again. "That was the day I got kicked out. Ever since, I feared what might happen if we encounter again. But, now. I must face that fear. I've gotten stronger. I just hope he hasn't..."
"I'll go, then."
Coro turned. It was Coda.
"He doesn't know me. He won't have a history to justify attacking me. Plus, you have that other job you need to do."
"B..b..but he's so strong. Are you sure?" Flare lifted his head.
"I'm smart. I'm sure I can find a way."
Flare got up and hugged Coda. "Thank you! Oh, thank you."
"It's really not that big of a deal."
"Trust m..me." Coro said. "It really is t..to us."
(I know this isn't particularly the mission itself, but I had a nice time writing some backstory for Coro and Flare. But, it's about the mission. Please count it.)
