"welcome to the mission roost ! Pokemon from all over the
place come here, seeking or giving help ! Will you be taking on
a mission today, or are you simply visiting our rufflet children ?"

Missions are the main way that you can collect coins! Coins are used to buy things from the shop
like myos, edits, breeding items, etc! Missions are completely optional and are updated weekly!
Which means you get 1 week to complete a prompt before and RNG picker randomizes
the prompts again for the next week!

All missions are categorized into C, B, A, S, and ★! ★, S, and A are the rarest form of missions
where more than just coins and common edits can be found by completing them! Some missions
like ★ missions will have ??? rewards, these rewards are extra rare and will be revealed as to
what they are at the prompt rollover for the next week!

Of all things Mercy had been expecting to do that Monday evening, finding an escape orb was not one of them. Let alone in the entirety of a forest. In caves, maybe! That could be easy, as the drab colours and boring interiors made anything foreign pop out like a sore thumb. Vex had thought it a brilliant idea! A way to collect a positive reputation for their small, startup guild. Of course, Mercy saw the reason and merit behind it - and even agreed that it had to be done - but she never once really thought about how ridiculous some jobs could be. Then again…who was she if she was not the angel who helped those in need. A reputation to keep and hone in on, indeed.

While their leader took to the air on feathered wings, the salandit and riolu fanned out on foot (naturally, what else did they have). A few renegade Pokemon looking for a spar jumped out at them eagerly. A happy go lucky Furrent named Lilly, was the most notable one, tussling with them more than anything. Holly had half the mind to snap the long Pokemon in half, but held her temper and settled for a easy best down that sent the defeated Pokemon scurrying off - if a bit happy, weirdly enough - back to where they came from. "Why would a Swirlix need an escape ball, anyway?" Vex mutters, snoot to the ground as she lead the way. She had a knack for finding valuables, it was apart of the breed, but her especially. If something didn't belong, she usually found it.

"Maybe she wants to escape her boring life," Holly responds flippantly, nudging a rock with her peet as they carried on. However, without much meaning, the salandit in front of her flared to life, flame erupting along her spine. A cruel hiss made the blue and grey canid Pokemon stop short and raise her paws defensively.

In front of them was a ground nest with a half a dozen eggsecute sat comfortably within it. At the center of their clutch was the escape orb. Holly groans. "What is wrong with you! Why do you have to be so dramatic, like these dumb nest babies are going to do-"

The riolu had just started marching forward, jumping over the grasping hand of Vex who tried in vain to grab her, grumbling about the misgivings of the situation. Though she failed to really think too much further ahead. Just as the salandit whispered the words, "Their mother," the womanly eggecutor dropped down in front of them, knocking Holly on her tail.

Needless to say that the battle that ensued was, by all accounts impromptu and a bit ridiculous. A lot of squabbling and stepping on paws in the process of trying to deftly take the orb without taking or giving too much damage. It was only done, in the end, by Mercy as she had found them eventually. While they had the mother distracted, she grasped the item from the wailing nest of egg-babies, and prompt got the heck out of there, calling for her girls to follow as soon as they could.

Finding, finding, finding. So fun, so awesome! Gotta get the shiny, ooooh! On this mission it was just Vex and Holly, and the duo were determined not to mess this up. Ah, well, easier said than done. Mercy had decided to let them take on a task of their own while she held down the fort to take care of 'business.' What that was, exactly, they couldn't say for sure, but here they were. Finding a gold nugget for an overdramatic Orbeetle. For what they were going through and handing over, Vex hoped to Arceus on High that it had a high payout or something, anything, of real value. She was getting tired of this low pay grade life. A girl wanted to treat herself without getting the stink eye from the boss.

The journey, at first, was uneventful. Simple run in's with overzealous or territorial locals, tripping over a few crevices, nearly falling into a chasm - you know…the usual. But when they came to the place they were told it would likely be in, they came to see three sableyes vibing out in a circle, idly tossing the thing between them. Now…Holly was no mathematician…what three against two seemed a little unfair to her, and while, yeah, she was always up for a good fight, the three seemed pretty strong and she heard that cave Pokemon can be pretty testy when it comes to their gems and ores.

So instead of going toe to toe in the traditional way, the pair settled for a good ol' bamboozling. What's the easiest bamboozle? A distraction. Holly picked up a sizable, throwable rock and just straight up chucked it as far and as hard as she could, way above their heads so they didn't see it fly. And they didn't see it. But man did they hear it CRASH and SMASH into pieces above their heads, right into one of those hanging death spike rocks that end up on the ceiling of caves. The thing freaking cracked and began to fall, all the while a flurry of zubats frantically dislodged from the places nearby and fly in a frenzy out a different entrance. This all scared the living daylights out of the three sableyes, who prompt dropped their nugget mid-pass and scrambled to escape the falling death-spike and cover their heads from the zubats.

Needless to say, Vex and Holly had a clean getaway with their target item.

Place: Mt. Bristle (Mountainous)

It was a striking visual for the two. The warm office had been empty for a long while, figures when you don't have a 'real' job that requires you to go out into the world. For now, the best way to obtain money was to do rescue missions, and with only the two of them, it wasn't likely that 'rescue teams' were going to help them. None the less the pikachu, and charmander sat fervently at the oak desk, staring at a large arched door, and patiently waited for it to open.

after tapping at a small, and temporary, sign that had 'Rescue jobs accepted here' carved into it, a bursting buzzing noise slammed through the door in great haste. This startled poor Yuki, the charmander, into falling backwards into the wall behind him against a chalk board with chicken-scratch written all over it. It was an orbeetle. It's frightening glittering, and concerned emotions made everone in a tight fit of shock, and dismay.

"C...Calm down." Kayou, the pikachu hesitated towards the pokemon. She had never seen such a creature in her life, but that wasn't going to stop her from helping the pokemon. "what is it?"

"PLEASE BRING GOLD NUGGET. TO HOME. MT BRISTLE" It then swooshed out of the building quicker then anyone could accept or deny the proposal. It made everyone stunned, but a job was a job none the less.

After some searching and time, the two left the guild and headed up the mountains. Mt. Bristle wasn't far from the guild so it made since that the client came to them first for help. Reaching the top of one of the large rocks there was a family of Blipbugs swarming the client, and presumably the mother.

After handing over the requested item, they waved goodbye. Shock and fear still on the charmander's face, from start, to finish.

The ceiling of the cave dripped, and dripped slowly. Over and over was the pattering noise. It set Yuki on edge as they crept ever deeper and deeper inwards. The darkness reflected, and seeped along the edges of the cold rocks, and little was vibrant among-st the damp, and darkened cave. It was seemingly lost in the Brine Cave, no sight of orange fish to be seen. This was of coarse, until they heard a faint splashing noise along the depth of the cavern.

Rushing onwards, Yuki, and Kayou, the charmander and pikachu, were at the feet of the magikarp in seconds. This was to find that the flopping fish was merely alone along side the rocks, and dripping water. It's eyes gazed upwards in fear at the two rescuers, and with it, Kayou assisted the pokemon outside of the Brine dungeon, and into the paws of a rather fluffy Arcanine.

The forest was pleasing this time of year. A cold breeze could be felt coming from the south of the trees, and a chill of spring was in the air. It was clear, shining, and under the assumption that it would be a pleasant walk among-st berry bushes, special apples, and the sweat smell of blooming flowers. However, despite the niceties of the trip, the two had no luck finding this 'Orb' that was in desirability to their client. It would be quick to assume that they knew what to do in the situation, but neither of them had a clue.

It seemed the magic of 'Finding Hidden Object' wasn't a forte the pikachu, and charmander had. They had a good idea what it looked like, and why it was so valuable, but not a one was anywhere to be seen. It was a forest filled with so many wonders, and the swirlix only wanted one thing from it- an Escape Orb. It certainly would be nice to have a couple of those for the trips they made.

Luckily there was no fighting to be had. Most of everyone they encountered was quite friendly, and seemed to enjoy the company brought to them by the two explorers. Kayou showed of her magic, and Yuki would then insist that the magic was selective and not a trick. They would, as they talked to the indigenous pokemon, and eventually found themselves at the foot of what they were looking for. Finally, the Escape Orb.

completed mission: Night was quickly falling as Valkyrie and Frey wandered towards a large rock formation, leading into Aegis Cave. There was a rumour that a very strong Pokemon lived in there, but they couldn't upset Maractus. This scarf was loved dearly by the Cactus Pokemon, and the two couldn't dissapoint them. Valkyrie grabbed her spear, and together they went into the cave.

It was very dark inside the cave. The only light was what little Valkyrie's spear was providing, and it was barely enough to help them see three feet in front of them selves. It was also very cold, however there was nothing they could really do about that. Suddenly, they heard the tapping of small feet on the hard, rocky floor of the cave. Valkyrie threw her spear towards the sound, finding a Greedent with a silk scarf. Frey wrestled him down and Valkyrie got the scarf. Then, they rain out of the cave together.

Code: Select all: "Why are we doing this again?" The bell on Oodles' neck rang out cheerfully as they extracted themselves from a particularly thick clump of underbrush then paused to stretch. Squishy and boneless a Shellos may be, but they still got stiff from being hunched over for long periods of time, and BOY oh BOY was Oodles feeling stiff! "So we have something to trade." Noodles shrugged casually and dropped another couple berries into a bag. The pair had been at this for at least half an hour now, and said bag was bulging nicely. A few more handfuls would top it off. "How can we be sure the Greedent will want to trade though?" Oodles smiled crookedly. "Maybe she really really really likes that scarf. Maybe she'll just... snatch all our berries and run away." As they said this last bit, Oodles reared up onto their hind legs and made a false swipe at the berry bag with both their front ones. Noodles watched this performance without comment. Then she sighed. "Hopefully it doesn't come to that. But if it does, we'll still have to get our friend's scarf back somehow. Her grandmother gave it to her, and it has extreme sentimental value..." "You can always kick that Greedent's butt, mom." Oodle's smile grew wider. "You're what... level 63?" "I'd prefer not to do that." Noodles wrinkled her nose. "But if worst comes to worst, yes - we'll kick Greedent's butt." "I'll be right behind 'ya, mom." After depositing their own couple berries into the bag, Oodles vanished back into the bushes, leaving their mother alone to look at the sky. Once the bag was fit to bursting, Noodles and Oodles hefted it carefully between them and began making their way toward the Greedent's cave. They took frequent breaks so as to not overtax themselves. Thus, as their destination finally came into view, the shadows had grown long on the ground and the horizon boasted a golden tinge. "We need to be quick about this." The pair maneuvered their cargo to the ground, then moved to stand on either side of the bulging bag. This done, Noodles took a deep breath. "Hello! Greedent! Are you home? We have matters to discuss and berries to share!" As a strolling player, her projection was excellent. Noodles' s voice echoed around inside the cave before them before bouncing back to their own ears, sounding tinny and distant. A moment later, there was a rustling. And a skittering. And a scraping. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a Greedent appeared in the mouth of the cave. Around its neck... a pale yellow scarf. It stared at its visitors approvingly, eyes scanning them without expression until it noticed the bag - THEN the Greedent's eyes practically popped out of its skull! Its entire posture changed too, from standoffish to 'used car salesman' pleasant in a flash. "Yes, my fine squishy friends? What may I do for you today?" "More importantly, what can WE do for YOU?" Oodles grinned, winked, and nudged the berry bag. Barely able to contain itself, the Greedent nodded eagerly. "Ah... yes. Yes! What indeed...?" "We spent the entire morning picking these just for you," Noodles put special emphasis on 'you', "and we'd very much like to be rid of them. They're heavy, you see, and I'm not sure we'd be able to haul them all the way back to town." "All you gotta do is hand over that scarf!" Despite its obvious greed, the Greedent hesitated. "But... I LIKE this scarf! I just got it too..." "Oh, quit whining!" Both Noodles and the Greedent jumped with surprise at Oodles' outburst. "A smart guy like you ought to know the value of THIS many berries! Quit with the token resistance and indulge yourself!" They winked again, now reaching over to undo the top of the bag. Once the knot holding it shut was out of the way, it flopped open alluringly, displaying many, MANY, Ripe berries whose skins shone brightly in the afternoon sunlight. Oodles selected one at random and popped it into their mouth. "The best of the crop, man. All yours..." Now they made a great show of chewing up the berry, even going so far as to let a trickle of dark juice escape down their chin. By this the Greedent was completely undone. It whipped the scarf from its neck and dashed forward, shoving the thin strip of silk into Noodles' face as it did so. "Take it take it take it! And leave!" It already had its hands in the berry bag. As Noodles and Oodles walked back toward town, the scarf safely wound around Noodles' neck, the pair shared a good, long, laugh over a job well done.

Code: Select all: As the young Pokemon's story unfolded, Noodles did her best not to smile. The Chingling's nervous energy reminded her so much of a friend she used to have back in Sinnoh... right down to that little twitch their right eye developed when they began getting SUPER worked up! It was impossible that the two were related. Noodles didn't even know where Sinnoh WAS from here. But still... she had to ask. "I'm sorry, but do you know a Ghastly by the name of Poot?" The Chingling stopped mid-sentence, clearly confused as to what this had to do with their situation. "Huh?" "I was just wondering if you..." "Mom!" Oodles piped up. "You're doing it again!" "No I'm not, dear. I've been listening! Terry here has a friend who traveled upriver, to the next settlement over, to do some trading, Despite being due back two days ago, they haven't returned.Terry is justifiably worried, and since we're heading in that direction, wants to know if we'll take him with us all or part of the way." Noodles looked to the Chingling for confirmation. When the Pokemon nodded, still looking a bit baffled, she smiled widely and pressed onward. "I was simply asking if they ALSO knew a Ghastly named Poot." "But what does that have to do with..." "Absolutely nothing. Nevertheless, I'm curious." She turned to the Chingling again. After a moment, during which the young pokemon looked from one Shellos to the other several times, it shook its head. "No. I'm sorry. Is it important...?" "No. I thought not, anyway." Noodles' smile took on a slightly somber look, but remained on her face. "We'd be glad to have you with us for a couple of days, Terry." "Especially if you can cook! Neither of us are too great at it. It'd be awesome to eat something other than burnt poffins for once." Oodles grinned lopsidedly as they shouldered their pack. "Anything you need to grab real quick? We're heading out ASAP." Three uneventful days later found Noodles and Oodles bidding a fond farewell to their Chingling friend. As it turned out, the Scorbunny they'd set out to find had simply managed to land a big contract with an Oran berry grower and lost track of time while hashing out the details. She was MORE than fine! As such, she and Terry decided to spend a couple days poking around the settlement together to celebrate. Before going their seperate ways, however, Terry the Chingling took Noodles and Oodles aside to thank them for safely escorting him all the way here.....

Code: Select all: The little trio was silent for many minutes, each lost in their own thoughts as they made their way through the jungle. Noodles, trailing a bit behind, kept questioning her decision to get involved in this. Yes, they'd passed through town several times. Yes they well known, and friendly with the locals. But they were strolling players - not mercenaries! What kind of work was this for them? Granted, Sheriff Matt D. the Braviary needed help; No one else seemed able - or willing - to pitch in! And it wasn't in Noodles' nature to leave someone hanging. Yet... she'd given up battling years ago, hadn't she? She'd sworn it off when she'd started her new life. It was doubtful that there'd be any other way out.... Oodles, walking close behind Matt, was enjoying the warm, humid, jungle air, and was looking around them like a tourist on holiday. They were suffering no crisis of conscience. Quite the opposite, really - they were excited! This mission wasn't the usual bag, aright, but trying new things was good for the soul. Right? Plus, they'd be doing a good deed. By all accounts the Cherrim they were after was a real dirtball. Breaking into houses, stealing stuff... Both Shelloses were bought back to reality by the voice of Matt, who had been making plans. "Alright gang, we're just about there. The Cherrim we're after has been holing up in a dead tree just over yonder." He stopped and pointed further down the path, where nothing much was visible through the thick vegetation. "I'll go in first, to give him one last chance to surrender, and if he doesn't... Well." Matt paused to shrug, then continued with a rueful smile. "Follow my lead." Noodles and Oodles exchanged a glance, then nodded to show the sheriff that they were ready. Or... as ready as they'd ever get. A moment later Matt disappeared around the bend. His clear, sharp voice carried back to them quite easily as he called out to the fugitive Cherrim. From where they stood they couldn't completely make out the response, but Matt's squawk of rage was clear enough, as was the sound of underbrush being violently disturbed. The pair sprang into action. Or... sprang as nearly as a Shellis CAN spring. Anyway, the ensuing scuffle was short-lived and massively anticlimactic - once the Cherrim saw that Matt wasn't alone, it rapidly reconsidered its odds of victory and surrendered in a fit of cowardice that made Oodles roll their eyes. Hard. Furthermore, It's first shot had swung wide and crashed into the trunk of a nearby tree, barely winging Sheriff Matt. Thus the Braviary was in good enough shape to hog-tie the outlaw himself! On the way back into town, Matt again took point, leaving Oodles and Noodles to flank the prisoner like some sort of gastropod honor-guard.
