Below is a condensed list (a very, very basic list) of how to get started

1 - create a kennel
2 - obtain a starter
3 - begin entering adopts

sounds simple, but it might not be for everyone

[creating a kennel title]

To begin playing, while not 100% necessary, creating a kennel is a good idea. By creating a kennel, you are creating a place to house your dogs and puppies. Having a kennel does not give you any advantages, but it helps you further
immerse yourself in the game.

You can create your kennel by filling out a form in the [url=x]kennel archives[/url]. You may change your kennel name in the future by PMing me or a mod.

[obtaining a starter title]

A starter is your first DGS. These can be done for free by an artist when we have time, or you may custom make one in the custom page. Customs do cost c$ however. A starter form is posted on the main page. Fill it out and post it; you might have to wait a while before it is claimed. Starters are like any other dogs, and can be male or female.

[entering adopts title]

This is as easy as it sounds. Simply look on the home page for dogs without collars (a collar means the dog has been adopted), click, and enter. You will have to follow the artist’s instructions for the adopt. Please do not hesitate to message a staff member if you need help entering an adopt.

Please remember that you may NOT reserve first come first serve adopts. Whining after losing an adopt may result in a temporary suspension.

ARPG based?? Maybe not??

ARPG ideas:
• genotype and phenotype is provided during adoptions/breedings (with dominant and recessive coats)
• breedings use punnet squares (I mean... we’re using them in bio now)
• perhaps eye color genotypes and phenotypes?

Possible genotypes:

Coat Colors
Black: CC2
Red: CC
White: cc
Yellow: cc2
Cream/brown/tan/grey/similar colors: Cc

Perhaps this is an idea for another ARPG lol.... I think DGS would be better as a casual “game”
