This positive random event will grant anything from extra credits, stat boosting items, or secret bonuses!
Double Specialty horses can only utilize this bonus once per competition run; they cannot receive the bonus twice in the same week.

In-hand show winners, first through third place, are awarded via a RNG entry list.
All In-hand shows will cost less to enter than regular shows, regardless of show level.
In-Hand shows can be entered alongside other shows, but a horse may only enter one specialty per run week.
Those entered into multiple will be ignored when show results are posted, regardless of whether they are specialized in two disciplines.

Horses are not required to enter for their chosen discipline!
However, if they are entered in a show that is not their specialty, will receive a negative random encounter.
Such random encounters may result in minor to moderate injury, possibly requiring medical care, or forced retirement.

═════════════════════════════════════════
When a horse encounters a forced retirement event, the horse has been shown in a discipline that was not it's chosen specialty and has encountered a career-ending injury. No details are ever given, but you will receive both a message on the results page as well as a message in your inbox.
All horses who are forcibly retired receive a compensation of 2,500 SS for veterinary care done by competition staff.

(username),
Unfortunately (horses name) sustained very serious injury while competing.
They were not suited for the work, it seems. Further competing may result in more grievous injury
and so it is best this horse is fully retired before anything else can befall them.
I'm sorry for your loss, but (horses name) has been barred from competitions henceforth.
You have been compensated 2,500 for all veterinary care.

Forced retirement has a 2% chance of occurring with every non-specialty entered horse!
All random encounters are fixed to a specific set of numbers on a 1-100 scale.
Forced retirement will always be located on numbers 99-100 for the above situation. This will never change.
