(intro written by minifun990)Throughout the history of our Earth there have been five mass extinctions. Five times that the world’s been completely changed, shapes and forms of the organisms living on this beautiful rock wiped away and starting anew.
We don't even know what this world may have lost, its history only told in snippets, a fossilised bone here, a footprint there. Yet this may only be a millionth of what was there.
Imagine now the multiverse theory, infinite universes, infinite possibilities. Imagine a world just like ours, only around 40,000 years ago the balances of gases and the minds of humans were just a little different.
Imagine a world with megafauna. But not just the ones from what we know of them, those little snippets. Not just the wooly mammoths, the giant sloths, the stocky, the tusked and lumbering.
Imagine a dominant predator with 10 cm talons, the speed of a cheetah, the grace of a panther, the strength of a lion. Not to mention the ability to fly and wield elements and the energies of the world to its whim.
Imagine this creature with the curiosity and mischievousness of a common household cat, and the loyalty of a dog.
This creature is the top creature of its time, at least at maturity. And it lays down in submission to a relatively small, bipedal, sparsely furred creature. Humans.
For the change that humans in this world experienced that long time ago was empathy and compassion for all living creatures. In this world humans didn’t drive species to extinction.
In this world Draco Felis reign supreme.

Dracofelis are, as the name suggest, a species of feline dragon. Rather, the name is an umbrella term for any feline/dragon cross. Each “breed” of Dracofelis is actually its own species; however, most species can inter-breed, though offspring will only ever be one or the other, never a crossbreed except in some circumstances.
The smallest species of Dracofelis is still not small by human standards. At their smallest, they are the size of a well-bred draft horse. At their largest, they are nearly the length of a Megalodon shark, and just as heavy. Because they do not need wings, their weight does not impact their ability to fly. They fly using magic rather than wings, as they are Eastern dragon crosses.
Most Dracofelis are actually quite tame and domestic. Although wild populations exist, they tend to be drawn towards humans. Most Dracofelis would rather be in the company of a human than without one. That being said, not all Dracofelis enjoy being ridden. Much like horses, it is a process that needs to be eased into.
In the wild and in captivity, Dracofelis have a specific type of hierarchy. The top males and females, called Kings and Queens respectively, are the most dominant. A wild Clan will usually have one of each, though they are not always mates, but they are always Alpha rank. The next are Princes and Princesses, who are always Beta rank, and usually not kin to the Kings and Queens. All others are known as Fae (female) or Drakes (male), regardless of whether they are Omega, Theta, or Delta rank.
The presence of magic in Dracosia is felt by all, and none more so than the Dracofelis. Upon coming of age, they will choose a magic path to go down, which will determine the spells and attacks they are able to learn. There will be more on that later on in this guide. Some Dracofelis are able to learn two types of magic, however, most can only learn one.
Overall, Dracofelis are friendly, amicable creatures who enjoy human company and also walk on the wild side. As of right now, there are three known species: the Oriental, the Nordra, and the Sphynx.
