Describe your troop’s Crest and the meaning behind it-
The Night Crawlers troop emblem was created by the troop leader, Malachi, soon after his first breakout. When his father ridiculed and belittled him for being to cheerful and told him he would never be able to lead a troop himself. His father even stooped down enough to tell him he would become a dream someday. Malachi painted the teeth blood red to symbolize his hatred toward his family, showing just how deadly he could be to anyone who dared to question his strength.
Draw or describe your chief giving a member of your troop a tour around the camp-
Malachi’s odd colored paw pads hit the ground at a rushed pace. The normal scowl that always painted his face was gone now, instead replaced by an uncomfortable and shy look that seemed foreign compared to his dark and fearful design. He glanced back at the newest member of his troop, slowing to a stop in front of his very well secluded territory. ”It’s small now.. but it will grow along with this troop. I’m glad to have you as a member here.. although, if you find me unfit as a leader, you may leave at anytime.”

The normally cold and distant leader laid sprawled out on a rock, his paws raised in the air and his eyes partially closed. A chuckle sounded from the front of the cave causing Malachi to groan as he rolled back over onto his belly. ”What do you want, -name-“ he mumbled, his dark eyes landing on his troop member who was commonly known as his second in command.
The smaller puffkin trotted up for their leaders rock, jumping up next to him while humming cheerfully. ”Oh nothing! I just love seeing you with your guard down and looking so out of character. Makes me love you even more.” they sang the last part cheerfully, plopping down next to Malachi. They laid their head next to his, humming a quiet tune. ”You can rest now Malachi. You have a troop now, no one will hurt you as long as we are by your side.”
The dark colored leader chuckled and raised his snout to bump it against the others, ”Thank you, -name-. I trust that you will protect me, I just want to protect you as well. And I always will. Anything for my troop and my lover.”
Describe or sketch your current base camp/territory-
Malachi made sure to keep his territory well hidden. With barely any scent marks until you are right on top of it, there is no way to find his territory unless you are searching for it directly. What started as a dying area of forest, now became the inhabitants of quite an interesting troop. Underneath a large, decaying tree, there is a whole different world. If you climb the tree up to the base of the trunk, there is a small opening that the Night Crawlers will use to enter their base. They’ll slide down the inside of the tree and land underground where there are numerous bio-luminescent crystals lighting up the cave. Small caverns line the walls where the puffkins rest. A larger cavern with no crystals and a large rock in the center rests on one of the walls. This is the leaders den. The troop will gather in front for orders and announcements. The puffkin troop will hunt only at night and all the food is stored in one of the caverns. All water must be retrieved from the river beyond the territories boundaries.
