They manage their limited resources very well and, even with their negative relationship with their border, PalmClan, they manage to thrive. Applestar avoids confrontation with the other clan in fear of losing lives but she will lead them into battle if absolutely necessary. She's a kind and affectionate leader, offering sanctuary to the very rare traveler since there is no way to get home unless a shipping boat comes to the island. Therefore, most cats that end up on the island about a boat leaves are meant to stay with the clans and are welcomed into their ranks.

Applestar's History wrote:Applestar was born in TideClan to Tadpolestar and Whistlewind, two very respected cats in CreekClan. Applekit was constantly in her mother's shadow because of her achievements and she strived to be more than Tadpolestar's daughter. The young cat devoted her entire apprenticeship to becoming stronger than her mother and becoming an amazing leader for TideClan. She was trained under a strong warrior named Lobsterclaw and the intelligent warrior taught her how to be patient and kind but also strong and sturdy. She found balance under his mentorship and become a strong and stable warrior, named Applesong.
She served her clan and gained a small reputation for herself, though she was still her mother's daughter, not her own person. She had friends but it was mostly Tadpolestar's friend group teaching her how a leader should and shouldn't act. This caused Applesong to gain anger and hate towards her mother and when the she-cat finally died she felt so grief. Applestar gained her lives and started her leadership poorly, trying to erase her mother's name from the clan's history until she finally decided to let her anger go and become stable again. Now, she honors her mother and has regained her reputation and her clan's loyalty and trust.

Cat Relationships wrote:Jellyfishsting and Applestar, as leader and deputy, have a very good relationship that is a closely bonded friendship. The two trained together as apprentices and underwent a lot of challenges together, making them incredibly strong cats in the long run with a devoted relationship. Back as young warriors Applesong always told the tom she would make him her deputy when she became the leader because of his devotion and loyalty to TideClan. His family line also consisted of a lot of respected cats, making him popular and ideal in the political standpoint. However, her friendship may of clouded her view because he wasn't the best cat she could have chosen. They are still a great and strong pair though.

Reputation wrote:TideClan isn't known by any other clan then it's border because it lives on an isolated island, out of reach of any other cat. However, this clan has a negative relationship with its border, PalmClan. Inside of TideClan, cats have a fairly positive view on their leader, Applestar, who is trying her best to lead TideClan into being an incredibly strong and honorable clan.

Aloesnow's Personality wrote:Aloesnow is a kind and affectionate she-cat, always wanting the best for her clanmates, no matter their backstory. She is one of the cats who constantly argues towards letting strangers into the clan when they are left by their ships because of her warm heart and intelligent head. She is incredibly loyal to her clan and very good with herbs, able to tell with a single glance if it is medicinal or poisonous. Even with being a medicine cat she is a strong fighter and good hunter, able to chip in whenever and wherever her clanmates need her.
However, the she-cat is very talkative and once she starts talking usually doesn't stop for a long while, making her a bit annoying, but she has many great stories and is good at holding a conversation. She is a good friend but is sometimes a little too clingy, but many cats pardon it since she offers so much as a friend and as a clanmate, so keeping yourself on her good side is a desirable thing. She doesn't get angry very often, but when she does she gets scary. She will lash out at everyone and everything, which is unfortunate, but her anger only lasts for a short amount of time.

The Brightest Night wrote:TideClan cats, despite their neighbors, celebrate when the moon is at its fullest, calling it the brightest night. It got its name because that is exactly what it is, the brightest night of a moon. Cats will gather flowers and special shells and throw them into the ocean's grasp, watching them go off to sea. Even with it occurring so commonly it is a very important tradition to TideClan's lifestyle. It makes the cats feel like they are giving back to the ocean that provides them food and the world that gives them sanctuary, water, happiness, and each other. It is a key event.
