Enemies:Butter is always wearing a smile and seems nice towards everyone, but he’s probably silently judging you. The only one who knows how upset Butter can get is
Spumoni, his worst enemy.
Butter and spumoni are both criminal ice cream truck drivers, though they aren’t part of the same group.
They will often pass bu each other when selling and it makes butter really mad to know he has to compete with him. Butter can’t get angry though, or he would lose his job. Spumoni always gives Butter a little wave just to piss him off. If the two ever find each other in public Butter gets really mad. He can’t show it or else he could get in a lot of trouble. Spumoni will taunt him just to see if he will act on his anger.
“Aww, you've had a rough day? Sorry to hear it, buddy! Hope things pick up for you! I, on the other hand, have had a great day! So come'ere! Let me hug 'ya! Maybe some of MY luck will rub off, and things'll pick up for you too!!" ^o^
~ Spumoni to Butter, said sweetly and, by all appearances, honestly.
Thus no one watching them could find any fault in his part of the conversation. Spumoni's like that - very passive-aggressive and manipulative. They'd do their best to make Butter lose his temper in public so that everyone watching would would take their side, and damage would be done to Butter's reputation. They'd ONLY want to cause a scene if it would benefit them somehow. Otherwise, they'd avoid it all costs. They're a shrimpy little dude, and they'd be afraid Butter would try to pound their face in.
Friends: although Butter is bad at making friends, AND keeping them, but he and
Frida have always been pretty tight. Butter will always come to Frida first, to rant about what Spumoni did that day, or what one kid said the other day, or whatever. Frida will then always give her honest opinion about the situation. Butter will also come to Frida for her advice, he thinks that just because she can speak her mind, she must be the smartest person ever. Though, it’s not like he needs advice a lot anyways. If Frida ever comes by to Bytter’s ice cream truck, she gets free ice cream, but she may leave a little tip every now and then because she knows he needs the money. Sometimes her opinions hurt him a little, but it’s not enough to make him upset, plus, he knows if he gets angry with her she will get upset with him and she will never come back for him. So he is always careful about what he says around her, and makes sure he doesn’t say anything that would offend her.
Other than Frida, Butter doesn’t have many friends. He has trust issues, and he gets annoyed easily by many different gators, so he doesn’t want to befriend thm so they’ll always be around bugging him. He doesn’t mind though, because he doesn’t get lonely, and is fine being by himself most of the time. He wouldn’t be a good friend anyways, he’s very greedy and rude, he’s also very introverted so just liked his time to himself anyways.
Family:Butter only has a few family members that he’s close with, the rest have just left/disappeared or he doesn’t have a good relationship with them. Butter’s only family members he has talked to recently are his brother
Shivers, who is also made of ice cream, and his nephews,
Ben and
Jerry, who are Shivers kids. Shivers and Butter have always been pretty good friends, and are always helping each other out. Once Shivers had kids Butter wanted to spend as much time with them, and show them he was the best uncle they could have. Though Butter doesn’t want lids of his own any time soon, he loves hanging out with Ben and Jerry, he probably gives them horrible advice and bad ideas, but he thinks he’s teaching them important life lessons. If Shivers found out what Butter was teaching them, he’d probably be pretty pissed, but Butter doesn’t realize how dumb he’s being by teaching them stuff like that. Sometimes Butter will take his nephews around in his ice cream truck and he lets them eat Asmara much ice cream that they want. It may be unhealthy but it’s really good! In the end, Butter is a pretty horrible uncle, and role model for a Ben and Jerry. Although the Jerry is a little shy and worried all the time, Butter tries to toughen him up and help him out all the time, he wants him to become brave, kind of like Butter.
Ben and Jerry have a sister,
Pearl, Butter realizes she is kind of a brat, and doesn’t like taking her places as much as the boys. He knows it’s not good to pick favorites, but Pearl usually only comes with him in the ice cream truck so other kids will see her and get jealous. The boys aren’t as concerned with popularity as she is which Butter appreciates. He doesn’t like bratty kids who just want attention, and only care about popularity like Pearl.
And then there’s
Wyken, Shivers’ partner. Butter and Wyken are always getting on each other’s nerves. Wykn is too much of a neat freak for Butter, and Butter is too careless for Wyken. Wyken would prefer to not have the kids going with Butter all the time, but he knows how happy Butter makes the kids, so he lets them go anyways, plus Butter is Shivers brother. Whenever Butter goes over to Wykens house to get the kids, Wyken will have to remind him to brush off his shoes, take them off by the door, pick up his crumbs, or whatever else Butter does that annoys him. Butter finds it really annoying that Wyken is so concerned with Butter.
