In order to adopt your first horse, you should visit either The Mare's Meadow or The Stallion Run. Instructions for adopting a specific horse will be found there. Each horse may have different requirements than other horses. To adopt a foal or an egg, you must first have an established herd, then visit The Orphanage or the Egg Rescue and follow the directions there.

In order to create your first herd, you must adopt either a mare or a stallion. Then you will visit the Archive to get the form to send to Keen. Fill out the form completely and your new herd will be added to the archive.

If you already have a herd and want to make another one, then you must buy a New Herd Voucher from the Marketplace. Once you purchase the voucher, you can redeem it in order to create your new herd using the same method you used to make your first herd. You must have a mare or a stallion in your possession that can take the lead position though, so keep that in mind.

In order to be sure of what color your horse is and to know its exact genetic make up, you must purchase a DNA Sleuth from the Marketplace. Once you have bought one, it will be stored in your Bank Account. To use it, find the proper form ("Move to/Use on a Horse") at the Bank and post it there in order to use it. Remember that a DNA Sleuth can only be used one time. Be sure you have the proper horse Archive ID to use it on because it cannot be undone.
