Summit Outings
You walk up to a small group standing near a dusty road.
There are other horses, a couple unicorns, and even a pegasus!
You chat with a couple of them for a bit until the guide walks
up and gets your attention. He is an Alicorn!
"Hello, and welcome to the Summit Outing! Today, as you may
know, we will be going out to one of several places to try to
find some interesting things to see," the guide's voice is deep
and rich.
Everyone around you nods and murmurs in their excitement.
"Now, keep in mind that everyone will be waiting on everyone
else, so no lollygagging! You have 15 minutes to make a
decision from the time I tell you your choices, otherwise,
you'll be required to leave the group and return home empty-
hoofed. Understood?"
Again, the others in the group nod and speak out in agreement.
"Be careful out there. You can get hurt if you are not careful.
On the other hoof though, sometimes the best things come to
those who take chances. So, if everyone is ready, line up on
the road here."
You all walk onto the path in single file. You can feel a thrill of
excitement move down your spine.
