Felidae Adopts

Ok so I am very excited to announce this new brain child of mine, Felis Felidae,
Felidae are a big cat species but they are completely tamable and very loyal to their owners. They have been known to sit guard over a dead owners grave for decades after the owners passing, this has also been their downfall in the past, they are so completely loyal that they will ultimately do anything the owner commands of them without question. These cats can reach the size of a full grown Liger, they can weigh up to 800 pounds, when these cats demand attention they get their attention.

Felid's can come in many various coat colors and have hundreds of different coat patterns
Their coat colors can vary from being more natural colors which is the most common to having very bright and wild colorings, which is more uncommon for the species.

One of the four mascots for the species belongs to me. The other three belong to the other three main artists.

hello! i'm excited for when these guys get more popular <3

i'd like to make a quick statement about why i think that felis felidaes should not be moved to dA.
one. it'd be more difficult for those of us who mainly adopt on cs.
- i, myself, have a dA but am no longer active. if this species is moved, then i [and possibly a few others] will no longer be able to participate in the adopts and community of felis felidae.
- coppas who not be able to access it either, as you have to be 13+ to have a dA.
two. moving it to dA will make the community grow faster, which isn't always good
- i've made some adopts on dA, some on cs. they can sometimes grow rapidly... too rapidly to keep up with.

So it's been a while, but I have some time for a few days and I'd like to push out a few adopts. With that said, I want to try to make stuff you guys like. So, what kind of things do you like to see in designs? Patterns, textures, strokes, colours, any trends you like! I'd like to see you guys get the kind of things you like. c;

Hi everyone! I'm also hoping to see more people around soon. I love these adopts. I'm also the archivist, and the archives can be found here. I own one Felid at the moment, which is Delilah. I've seen a few designs I like but I wanted to give other people a chance to adopt since the species is new.

I also voted no for moving to DA because I find it hard to use. It also like to mess up for me which makes it worse. But, I can see why it would be a good thing. It's more art-based which is more ideal I suppose. So basically, I think it's a good idea but I just don't like it. :c

What are your favorite things to see in a design?
I like more natural designs, usually brown, with a little bit of unnatural features. My favourite patterns are spots and stripes. At the moment I think I'd like to see either dark points or some white markings mostly.

Not my favourites, but for some recommendations, I think a design based on a lynx or jaguar would be nice? Maybe even house cats. For some reason, I'd like to see designs based on a springbok or some similar creature. For colours, I don't think there's any 'true' red designs yet, and only one mid-blue sort of colour? c:
