So... I can start, right?


It is getting late. I sit under a tree and look at the sunset before me. I decide to search the tree one last time before heading off to the meadow. "I'm bound to catch one, right?" I mutter before I start searching.

I hope this worked!

(Yep, and it's not a summoning spell. XD)

I stare at my leaf. I love the way it sparkles in the dusky light, with shimmers of orange, yellow, blue, pink, and green. This tree branch is the best spot to catch the light of the fading sun. A sparkle flares and blinds me for a moment. I squinted at my silky purple dress to let my eyes clear.

You're the fairy, right? If so...


I look at a particular tree branch, and think I see a flash of... Purple? I look closer at the branch.

(I don't think anyone has actually caught any of the fairies with the net and jar yet. XD)

I froze, mouth agape. Seriously, my wings stopped working and I fell on the soft grass. "A-are you serious?" I asked, after I had picked myself up off the ground. "Nobody has ever offered me such a nice gift before... Oh, I know!"

I dashed off, leaving her to wonder about where I was going. I fleushed(flew+rushed=fleushed) to my nest, snatched a handful of my most precious feathers, and returned to the girl. "I'm ready to go!" I said.

(It seems almost wrong to trap them in a jar )

I was a little sad when the fairy fleushed (*lol* you created a new word ) away into the trees, I was just picking my net and jar up again to leave when she dashed back out of the branches above me, frantically clutching at a bunch of feathers and saying she was ready to go?
"Are you sure you want to leave your home in the forest to come with me?" I asked. I wanted to be sure she was happy with her decision. "You can ride in my hair with the feathers if you like? I'm sure they'd make a soft nest for you to sit in." I smiled at her, this was the best day ever if she truly wanted to come home with me

"Am I sure? Well, no, but I know that I can come visit once in awhile, and sitting in that nest of wonderful feathers sounds wonderful!" I enthused. I fluttered over to her head and perched myself on her hair. This would be so exciting!

"Hello" I say quietly. "I like your dress! It's very shimmery" The fairy edges a little closer. Suddenly i remember the heart shaped pebble i had found earlier, and take it out of my pocket. I slowly extend my hand towards her, with the pebble in it. "Would you like this?" I ask "I found it this morning in my thyme bushes" She slowly comes closer

"T-Thank you," I stutter as I edge a bit closer. SHe offers me a cute little heart-shaped pebble. "Oh!" I cry, "It's adorable! But I feel bad about not being able to give you something back..."

My head droops. Then, I perk up. I remember the special bag I have at home. "Stay right here," I say, "I'll be right back!"

I fly back to my nest for the special bag.

I turn just in time to see a winking light fluttering over to a small bush. I follow, keeping my distance.

I clapped my hands over my mouth. I hadn't meant to do that! The words had rushed from my mouth before I'd had the chance to think about it...
