Orientation And Personality:
Thalia is straight, single, and currently looking for a possible Mate. She is also trying to make new friends!
Thalia is very shy. She does her best to open up to her friends, but, when her emotions get the better of her and she can literally go the entire day without drinking or eating, That's when she writes her songs. She puts all of her emotions, anger, sadness, joy, into her songs and that's why they are often sad. Due to her bad past with bullying, a lot of her songs are wistful and could make anyone cry. Thalia tries her best to not care about what other plumerians think of her, but mean words always seem to affect her horribly. She does get over whatever they said eventually, however, even though it does take time to do so.

Relationship with Ky:

Kyler has always been the mother figure in Thalia's life. He was the one that taught her to dance and then helped her write her songs by dancing around the living room for some kind of 'inspiration'. The dances were never very inspirational, but, they DID make her laugh. Ky was the one who taught Thals to sing and write. She has always been thoroughly fascinated with anything artistic and spends a lot of time watching her dad work. Thalia was given her nickname by her dad when she was little cause she's very clumsy. Her dad said that it made sense since Thals rhymes with Falls. Thalia calls Ky Dad. Here's a short story of the two plumes from when Thalia was 12.

"Daddy! Dad!?! Daaaa-aaaad!" Thalia yelled up the stairs.
"Whats up Thals?" He yelled back.
"The sun! And it's Saturday! Which means you need to take me to my dance lesson! And your job for that matter." She hollered.
"It's Saturday?!?" Ky called down the steps.
"Yes, dad. And you need to get in the car." She scolded.
"Hey, who's the parent here!" Her dad hollered down to her.
"At this moment, I'm not positive!" She shot back. Ky opened his mouth as if to say something, but, looking down at his pajamas he decided against it and dashed into his room to change. 20 minutes later they were in the car and the dance instructor was 15 minutes late. When they got to the dance studio, they both rushed in, my grabbing the bags and Thalia grabbing the water bottles. When they walking in everyone stared. Ky put on his stern face and set his stuff on the floor.
Thalia followed suit. Ky cleared his throat and spoke.
"Everyone line up. We've got a routine to learn." He shouted as the girls took their positions. "A-one, a-two..."
"Excuse me!" A girl chirped from the back. "Im Eloise and I was wondering if you're a guy, how you're going to teach us dance?" She blurted. Ky glowered at her.
"Rule 1: Raise your hand to talk. Rule 2: Don't get distracted. Rule 3: NEVER QUESTION ME CAUSE I'M MALE!" Ky shouted, practically steaming. Thalia knew she had to do something. She dashed forward and grabbed her dad's hand as he was about to slap the girl across the face. He struggled for a moment then stopped. They quickly went back to dancing until lunch break. During lunch break, Thalia went up to the new girl.
"Hey, are you okay?" She asked quietly.
"Yeah, I'm fine, why?" She answered cheerfully.
"Oh, it's just my dad gets really angry when someone questions his ability to dance. He a good person though." Thalia sighed. "What's your name? Mine's Thalia." She continued.
"My name's Eloise." Eloise replied. "And this is my friend Maggy." She said, motioning to a girl who came over while they were talking.

So, that's that! I now have another story from when Thalia was 6.

Thalia skipped to her dads studio, Ky trailing right behind. Today he was going to teach her ballet! Thalia was super happy. Ky unlocked the plexiglass door to reveal his matted studio. Thalia looked around curiously.
"Okay, Thals. Wait until I say go, ok?" He started. "Ready, set, GO!" He shouted. Thalia leaped and spun and twirled. She had been doing ballet since four and now, at the age of 6, she knew around 5 different dance types. Ky watched her thoughtfully as she spun.
"Good job, now, jump higher. He ordered.
"How daddy?" Thalia questioned kindly.
"Push off with your legs." He explained patiently. Thalia did as told but a bit farther forward then was ideal. She tripped over a loose pad as she landed and flew through the air, straight into Ky's waiting arms. They both laughed after he put his little girl down.
"Thanks daddy!" She chirped, giving him a big hug.

Relationship with Taupada:
Taupada has always been the father figure in Thals' life, carrying her around on his shoulders and lifting her onto beams so she can hang up high, while standing below to catch her if she falls. Taupada is the one who is always cracking bad jokes that make Thalia groan, but, secretly she treasures the funny little puns. Thalia calls Taupada Papa or possibly Father on occasion. Thalia does not have as close of a relationship to Taupada as she does Ky, but, she loves both of her parents with all her heart. Thals started writing songs around 15, and the band formed 6 months later. Taupada will often makes jokes about parts of her song and she'll try to appear angry at him, though inside she struggling to maintain a normal complexion. When she's scolding her fathers for being more childish (Taupada) or irresponsible (Kyler)

Relationship with Ezra:
Since Thals is one of Eloise's BFFs, she knows Ezra pretty well. Maggy and Thals are constantly hanging out with Eloise, so, Whenever Ezra comes down to visit Eloise they see him quite a bit. Enough that over the years, Thalia has developed a huge crush in Ezra. She absolutely loathes that her friend gets to sit near him and hang out with him all the time. Thalia's crush is astoundingly obvious to any except for Ezra and Eloise and she awaits eagerly Ezra's visits in hopes that he will somehow confess love for her, or even just acknowledge her for that matter. Ezra tends to ignore Thalia and Maggy, giving all his attention to Eloise. Even though Thals knows the two are just close friends, she can't help her heart being ripped in two whenever she sees them together. Find more of their relationship in A Heartbroken Plume.

Relationship with Wesson:
Wesson has been like an older brother to Thalia for as long as she can remember. When she was about 3, Thals (That's her nickname) went to a special class for smart kids like her. It taught them how to read and write at an early age and do addition and subtraction. This helped them be prepared for Pre-K and, ultimately, be ahead of their class. Her Father, Ky, walked little Thalia to her class at the elementary school for the first week, until, she had the route memorized. By that time, Ky would walk her in and let her walk down the halls to her classroom, knowing it was good for her to get used to independence. On the fateful day she met Wesson, she had to use the bathroom. Thals was feeling revolutionary that day, so, on her way to her class, she took the hall to the first grade bathrooms, instead of going to the Pre-K bathrooms by her class. Plus, they were closer and she REALLY had to go. Wesson was headed down to the front office to turn in the attendance. He was still named Maximillan at the time. So, 10 year old max was in fifth grade and had to walk down to the office and give the lady at the desk his teachers attendance, but, his attention was distracted by small, muddy boot prints trailing into the hallway to his left. Being who he was, Max had to check it out. He followed the trail about fifteen boot prints and came across a little girl crying in a corner. By this time, the bell had rung and he would be late to turn in his attendance, but, max didn't care. Instead, he later down by the sniffling little girl and looked her in the eyes.
"What's wrong, he asked, nosing the tiny plumerian's cheek. Thals looked up from her paws.
"I-I didn't have time to go to the other bathrooms." She paused to sniffle. "So I came down here. Now, I'm l-lost and I don't know how to get back." She cried. "And now my teachers gonna be mad and my daddies are gonna make me go to bed early." She pouted. Max cracked a smile. "I'th not funny!" She pouted, glaring at him. Max quickly covered his smile with his paw and picked the little girl up by her neck scruff.
"I know." He said shyly. "My name is Max and I can take you back. What's your name little girl." He asked as the child brightened up.
"My name ith Thalia, and I'm haaadly little. I'm gonna call you Maxy!" She smiled, skipping a few steps in front of Max all the way to her class.

Relationship with Eloise:
Eloise is one of Thalia's best friends, Second only to Tournesol. Eloise is a really good friend of Thalia's that she has known since she was two, or both of them were. The Apple Orchard by Eloise's house is Maggy, Eloise, and her hangout spot. They go there every night after school and will do homework together. Eloise is a main subject of Thals' jealousy, being close friends with Ezra, who Thalia has a crush on.Thalia would never let her crush ruin their relationship, at this point at least. Thalia always loves to hang with her friend and only wishes that there wasn't that rift in between them.

Dropkick Heartbeats::

Thalia has her own band called The Dropkick Heartbeats in which she is the lead singer. The band consists of a few friends, Her friend Rei who is on drums, Her friend Warren on guitar, and Her friends Tournesol (Sol) and Jackson as background singers. the band is slowly gaining popularity with their new album 'Pounding Rainbows' Which contains the songs Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. Fans are complaining that they used an improper rainbow because they didn't use Indigo and Purple should be Violet. Thalia is a musician and a child prodigy, she learned the basics of music (notes, scales, staffs, time signatures, etc.) by age 6, and excels at anything musical. Her preferred instrument is her voice, though she also plays the guitar and piano as well.

The formation of the heartbeats::
When Thalia was younger, she was bullied to the point that she almost ran away from home. She was teased about having two dads instead of a mom and a dad. She was teased about supposedly being "ugly". She was even teased about the most stupid things, like being a nerd because she was super smart. She eventually gathered up every ounce of courage she had and managed to do something about it. Thalia started to reach out and look for friends. She ignored the stares and made an effort to meet people. Then, in the beginning of eighth grade, Thalia made friends with a new kid named Tournesol, but, everyone called her sol. She became her friend early on and began to guide her about the school. Tournesol eventually became Thalia's BFF, but, Tournesol also was absolutely beautiful. She soon rose to the top of the school's social pack and became the queen bee. Tournesol was different though, she ruled with kindness. Thalia was always at her side and became increasingly more popular, until the people who used to bully her ran apologizing to her feet. On December 12th, Thalia was feeling very emotional about people and them apologizing way to late. She started to write a poem, which turned into a song, a song called apologize (originally written by one republic). Then, Thalia started to write music for it, but, she could never tell what it sounded like because of one tiny issue. The music she was writing was for multiple people, 5 to be specific, and she was only one person. She then came up with a solution, she called Sol. She told her of her plight and asked her to come over and bring a few friends. Tournesol quickly agreed to play the flute and brought over a guitarist named Warren, an amateur pianist named Jackson-Lee, and a boy named Rei who just wanted to play and was pretty good on the drums. They set up and tried to play the music, but, they ran into a small problem, the music was all centered around the singing! As Thalia listened, she realized that the piano and flute didn't fit the tone of the piece, and that the singing was absolutely needed. She sighed and stopped the band. "This will NOT work without singing. I need two of you to sing back up. Could you and Sol do it, Jackson?" She asked the male plume. "The piano and flute won't fit with the piece anyway, and I already know Sol is an outstanding singer." She continued with a small smile. Jackson conceded and they continued to play, with her background singers behind her she took a deep breath and counted. "ah-five-six-seven-eight" and started to sing her heart out. She sung with everything her head had told her all these last few years and squeezed her eyes shut as to not see the others reactions, she was so into the song, that she didn't realize the other plumes were staring at her in wonder. She finished the song and stopped to silence and then a round of applause from her friends. "Wow! That was... Amazing doesn't even describe it! Have you always been this good?" Sol exclaimed. "I-I have always had a hobby for singing, but I never thought ai was any good!" She muttered. The other just stood there with their mouths open. "Close your
Yaps before you catch flies!" She snapped and all 5 of them broke out laughing, even Thalia. It had been a while since she had truly laughed without force. She smiled. "We should come back again sometime! Do you guys agree?" Jackson exclaimed. "Definitely! We need a band name though..." Thalia started. Suddenly, the neighbor boy drop kicked his phone into their yard and yelled 'DROPKICK!' At the top of his lungs. Sol jumped back and landed on the couch. As she did, her phone started playing a heart monitor noise and the sound of a heart beating. She quickly stood up and clicked cancel on the call she had butt dialed. "Sorry, errr, my friends a nurse and that's her ringtone." She said and blushed. Thalia looked up with a smile at the rest of the crew. "So, what do you guys think of our band name being The Dropkick Heartbeats?"

A Heartbroken Plume

Thalia sighed as she trailed behind Eloise and Ezra. It was one small sound of remorse,but, it caused her cheery friend to turn around and wait for her.
"What's the matter, Thals?" Eloise prodded, not having ever noticed her friends longing glances at Ezra.
"I-I uh I'm not feeling the best." Thalia sighed as Ezra turned around, laying his beautiful, shining, obsidian eyes on her pityingly.
"Maybe you should go home and rest?" Eloise suggested kindly, trying to help her friend. Thalia would never miss the chance to be around Ezra, so instead she shook her head.
"Nah, I'll be fine. It's only a small headache." She chirped with a smile. More like heartache. She thought to herself. If Eloise noticed her friend's small from at that thought, she didn't say anything. She studied Ezra as she padded after the two quickly. His green and blue fur was clean and neat, also recently brushed, to look all sleek and glossy. Probably to impress Eloise. Thalia thought sadly. When they arrived at the orchard, they met up with Maggy. Maggy understood what Thalia was going through. She saw those fleeting glances Thals shot toward Ezra when she thought no one was looking and always let Thalia sit on the other side of Ezra. Thalia's BFF Tournesoul trotted up to her.
"Hey." She said sadly, noticing the longing expression on her face. "I was here picking apples, what do you think? You want to come help me and get your mind off of things?" She asked sympathetically.
"Sorry, no. It hurts more when I stay away. I end up worrying if they kiss or something." Thalia whispered wig a quick glare at Eloise and Ezra, who were sitting by a tree laughing. "It feels as if they are laughing at me." She sniffled.
"I understand. Try to be a bit cheerful for me, ok?" Tournesoul prodded, nosing her sympathetically.
"Ok." Thalia agreed, heading over to sit by Ezra and Maggy. Ezra looked up when she sat down, staring at her with pity.
"You look like you just had your heart ripped out. Did you and her fight?" He asked, motioning to Tournesoul.
"No. It was someone else." She croaked, shaking her head at how close he was. Maggy, taking the initiative stood up and growled.
"And the one who did it is completely clueless as to what he did." She hissed.
"Oh. I'm sorry, who was it?" He asked pityingly.
"A boy who I like completely brushed me off without a single thought." She growled, taking a step towards the gate, the tears starting to fall.
"Wait! I think I understand. I know what you mean." He choked.
"NO! You don't! And you never, EVER, will!" She cried out, dashing out of the gate. Eloise stared after her with wide eyes. Does she know? she though, shaking her head and sobbing. Ezra stared after her in complete confusion and she could hear Maggy behind her yelling at him as Tournesoul dashed after her, dropping her bucket of apples.
"Now you've done it!" She screamed, rushing to join Tournesoul in chasing her.
"Thals! Wait up!" Tournesoul called, but Thalia had no intention of turning around. She ran into her backyard and up a tree, leaning into the Y bend and sobbing. She closed her eyes and started to sing.
