Clovenburgs, were bred for extreme situations. They work great under pressure, and are usually working as public service horses or sport horses. Some work with the Police, some with with Firefighters, and some were bred intensely for sport of extreme jumping. Their height range is from 16hh-19hh.

Contest rules:

- You must complete the tasks in order to win your custom
- If you do not complete your tasks, you have the option to buy your custom.
- Writing pieces must be by you. However you are allowed to order art for the tasks.
- PM me your design for approval before posting your form.
- Your design MUST be approved by the owner (me) before you can start the tasks.
- You have the option to adopt out your design if you no longer connect.
- You are only allowed 1 design. Once your design has been approved- you can no longer change it.
- This contest is for anyone! Even if you already have a custom, feel free to enter to win another custom!

When designing you must follow this chart!

Eye Colors:

- Common eye colors range in different shades of brown, blue, and green.
- Uncommon colors are any shade of purple and orange.
- Any shade of red or bright yellow are never shown.

Patterns:

- Any Appaloosa patterns
- Any Paint/ Pinto patterns
- Abnormal facial/ leg markings

Coat Colors:

- Natural Colors
- Natural existing horse coats
- Mix of natural and non-existing horse coats
- Dapples
- Roans (existing and non existing)

Additional Markings:
-Leopard Spotting

Leopard spotting is where the affected appaloosa pattern has spots that more resemble a Leopard spot. Normal spots with no leopard change can still show.

- Tabby/ Tiger Stripes

Tabby and or Tiger stripes are usually darker than the natural coat color. In rare cases it's lighter. The striping pattern can affect any part of the body, and sometimes affect the entire body.

Colors and markings that don't show:

- Cremello
- Perlino
- Lacing
- Chimera
- Lethal White
- Splash markings
- Albino

Want to apply to be a guest artist as well?
In your application you can design up to 10 designs that will NOT become customs but to apply for a guest artist!
You must design between 1-10 designs that you designed yourself for clovenburgs only. I don't want to see examples of some dog or other horse species you did.
Bonus points if you can include a leopard spotted design, a tiger striped design, a solid design, an appaloosa design, and some paint designs. You will be more of an interest if you have all types of coats displayed.

You must have a program where you can use a PSD file. The adoption lines are a PSD file.

I would prefer you use a PSD file for your designs so I can see that you can operate a PSD file correctly.

So, in order to win your design as a custom you must first design your own Clovenburg and get it approved by me. If something is wrong you must fix it before you start the tasks.

This event will end January 5th, 2016

You can create and complete by this time and win. You won't have to wait until January to be granted your custom. But entries must be done before January 5th. If not completed by then, you have the option to adopt out your design or to buy it as a custom.
No you can not just design your custom and buy it right away. You only have the option to buy it after January 5th.
Buying your custom has 3 options of payment:
- 25 of any of my hoarding pets
- 200 DA points
- $80 CS dollars

Task #1: You must design your own custom, and send the design to me in a private message. If it gets approved, you can no longer change it. I will know if you change the design because all designs will be posted on this thread to keep track of everything.

Task #2: Pick a job from the list of jobs on the official page.

Task #3: Set up it's training thread. Example here: Click

Task #4: Complete at least 3 of the training tasks for their future job.

If you chose to write for any of their training tasks, there must be a word minimum of 500 words for each training task.

Task #5: Interview your Clovenburg with at least 20 questions.

Any of these questions can help personalize your Clovenburg.
ie: What is your favorite thing about training?
or what is their favorite food?

Task #6: Introduce yourself on the fanclub and explain your favorite thing about clovenburgs.

Task #7: Suggest up to 5 different clovenburg coat colors you would like to see be adopted, on the fanclub.

Once you have finished all the tasks, you can PM me, or a mod to have your custom completed. Remember, you must have your design approved by me only. But you can get your tasks approved by a mod or me to be able for your design to be transferred onto official lines! PM your completed tasks with the title as Clovenburgs Custom.

Left rear - pastern



*the color still turned out to be a bit more brown/yellow, she is supposed to be a pale goldish cream color*
